I want (and expect) us to give RVP another chance. The guy is lethal when he's in form. Falcao needs to adapt a bit more before he can start.

A win here will be a big confidence boost.

If Luke Shaw's 45 mins for the U21 side on Monday is anything to go by, he isn't fit enough to start first team matches at the moment. LVG had mentioned during his press conference that Shaw wouldn't be able to play 90 mins against QPR.

Hope Cambiasso starts for us. Looked a class above against Stoke

    Dave
    Rafael - Evans - Rojo - Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera - Di Maria
    Mata
    Rooney - Falcao

Januzaj and Carrick off the bench.

Unless Smalling returns, I'd opt for the same starting eleven that played QPR. I'm not comfortable with Evans at the back, as at any given moment he can make a huge cock-up, but I'd persevere with van Persie up front who I think improved on his previous outings, although it was still a mediocre match from him.

No real need to change a winning side that performed well. I expect Falcao to force his way into the first team sooner rather than later anyway.

So I think 1 person so far has had RvP in their starting XI.

Hell, I agree. I think he should be dropped. But realistically he is one of our untouchables. I would expect Mata to be dropped if Falcao starts. Rooney as the head of the diamond.
I think Van Gaal will want to have some fresh striker on the bench. Secondly Mata was pretty good last match and if everything works around him - movement, he is special player to finish off the actions. Thirdly Falcao may not be in full fitness and shouldn't be rushed to play when we have fit strikers. Buty yes the more I see him now on the pitch the happier I'll be. And yes I'd bench van Persie and give even a go to Adnan upfront. Scored hattrick and would add pace and flair up front. I personally think we could profile him out as striker if we wanted at this early point of his development..

hope we dont get carried away with that result against QPR. Leicester, as much as I hate those plastic clubs, enjoy a good start to the season. Drawn at home twice against Everton and Arsenal and won at Stoke which isn't easy. To loose in Fulham against that team calling themselves as if they were from Chelsea isn't really a surprise.

We have to be aware of a fight and really need that win! Hope we can good as well against more resistant opponent away from home. (ok, we had a far better away record last term but usually it is harder away from home)

    Plastic club?

    whats the deal with Shaw....

is it general fitness (being overweight?)

or did he take a knock on tour?

don't they have an asian suggar daddy who bought them back into the PL? They won't be here if they still were a serious and fair working football club.

    Sigh......

maybe its a bit harsh for them, far from beeing at same level of cheating than the most famous $hitty and Chel$hit but still no more considered a football club

    Not considered a football club.....right!

So any club that gets taken over is no longer a proper club? Glaze r's are different how?

After Sudays game i cant wait for weekend to see another good performance, as fo starting 11 dont have nothing against same team as last game. Hoping for great football from our side and jet another easy victory cos after all WE ARE MANCHESTER UNITED. I know its just 1 win but still te back four an midelfield finaly look confidend of whate they doing so im hoping this will be even better.

I wouldn't be against seeing Januzaj start after his performance last night. The drop in quality would be reasonably small and it would be good management via Van Gaal. He'll be buzzing after last night, I'd look to maintain that, even at the expense of one of our expensive quartet.

Both, the Glazer story is not different in the way that we are no more a football club. We are a money milking machine for some american bastards. The difference is they are cheating on us solely, while others owner who pump their own money in the market are cheating every football fan.

both modells have to be seen as cancer in football and should be erased. I know that will never happen but still I hate all peolpe who do think football doesn't belong to the fans but to those who have money to waste.

Look also at Cardiff, whta the hell do those fans have to bare with their fecking owner! It's a disgrace or Coventry another example where fans are the victims!

I fear a bit Januzaj gets frustated if he doesn't get enough first team action but the new systems wheater diamond or back-five are not in his favour. Think we can't take any risk atm and should field the best team, which means he currently is on the bench.

Seems as though he came back after summer break out of shape. Bizarre as last season the last thing you would worry about with regards to Shaw was his fitness, was up and down the flank for the full 90

In the Diamond he's probably both Mata and Di Maria's back up.

would not be surprised to see a 1-1 here, but i reckon United will win it, but barely 1-2.

Can't judge all foreign backers based on those examples. Our owners have been great. Learnt their mistakes by letting Sven spend obscene amounts of money. They brought Pearson back to the club and have let him build the squad he wants in a sensible and sustainable manner.

They have also not spent big this summer but we've improved the squad significantly imo. The training facilities have been heavily upgraded which helps attract better players. I'm very happy with them

I think Januzaj is defensively not as good as di Maria and Rooney could be prefered as Mata backup. Nonetheless he will get playing time, he is just too good to be not involved. A shame we are out of the League Cup for the likes of Perreira and Wilson.

Injured on tour. But there was a comment on Red Issue from a player regarding Shaw's fitness even before LVG announced he'd put Shaw on an individual training programme. I don't think he currently has the stamina for the role he's expected to play. I suppose less running was involved at Soton.

Leicester, a plastic club?! Nah, they're a proper Premier League club imo. They've spent money as have a lot of other Championship clubs. I'm happy they're here. Hope Forest and a few other sleeping giants make their way back to the Premier Division too. Even fecking Leeds would be great, just so we could bend them over again at Elland Road on a regular basis.

nice to hear some inside knowledge and that some owners seem to use their brain. Questions remains about where the money comes from that bought the training facilities. The only good thing with that could be that it proves good for the youth of english talent if not the same owners like at shitty waste english talent in the first team. The transfer activity after the initial spending spree really looks ok, but that's only one aspect of the judgement. Still, in a perfect world football belongs in the hands of fans and not owners from abroad.

We can only hope for all foxes supporters that Vichai doesn't ruin the soul of the club or the game itself like at the big plastic clubs

All their own money. Also bought out all of our debt which was huge although I can't remember the exact figure. Don't think they'd break the trust of the fans. Could be wrong

As would I be if a Leicester fan. You came here in peace and got abuse - pay no heed mate!

I was at Filbert Street a couple of times in the 80s and you beat us on both occasions one of them a 3-0.

Anyway hope its a good game at the weekend you going?

It's fine, I don't think it was abuse just a bit of a generalisation.

I can't remember the last time we beat your lot lol

I always remember Van Nistelrooy scoring against us every time. Also remember Barthez kicking the post to clean his studs whilst Muzzy Izzet was ready to take a pen. The ref blew his whistle and Izzet stroked it in only for the ref to order him to retake it because Barthez wasn't ready. Obviously he saved the retake!

I am mate yeah. Couple of beers in the Counting House before the game and then back in there after to watch Chelsea v Man City. U going?

Unfortunately not. Can't stretch to away games these days and it's a big miss.

The odds for the QPR game were shocking. For you to start on -3 was only 2/1! Lol
