Disagree absolutely can blame him as the furthest back and in an empty stadium an alert and assertive goalkeeper spots the danger and screams at his players to get back. That did not happen. Romero in goal and that doesn’t happen, De Gea in goal that doesn’t happen and never has.

He is as much as fault for not organising his defence.

Equally De Gea saves that second goal poor shot stopping from Henderson for the second. Really disappointed that he’s not making any kind of decent claim to the No1 spot.

There wouldn't be a single team in the sunday league I play in that leaves no one to defend when they have a corner in the 11th minute. Absolutely incomprehensible stuff. I'd argue that the corner should've never even been taken if you see that there's literally no one in the back who'd be there for a defensive recovery once the ball is cleared.

Would put Lindelof for Tuanzebe, Greenwood for Mata and have them go for a bit. Then possibly Cavani for Martial or Rashford and Pogba for VdB/Bruno. Needs to improve

Our defensive positions and transitions from attack to defence have been woeful. Donny should not be playing so deep, get Fred on for Mata and have Donny 20 minutes playing of the right.

Really really poor stuff for the 2 goals that we conceded. Being ripped apart on these counter attacks. The late Martial goal gives us some bit of a lifeline and it was a decent cross by Shaw and a good headed finish by Martial. We don't deserve it, but we have hope to come back and win. But we can't afford any more mistakes like Mata made and we cannot be as open as we were for the first goal.

There is being eager and then there is the stuff we showed for the first goal we conceded. I get that Ole asked the players to come out the gate roaring but completely neglecting any defensive duty to the point we didn't even bother leaving anyone behind was ridiculous.

We basically had everyone in the final half of the pitch with acres behind before even reaching the half way line. What was that about? :lol:

What a quandary. So easy to run through without McFred. So limited with them. The sooner we get a proper quality DM (Zakaria, etc), the better for all our blood pressures! Heck, make a plan to sell Pogba and Fred and get Zakaria and Saul, and you can double pivot all you want. But where's a DOF when you need one?!

Martial's goal late in the half gives us some hope. We need to get something out of this game!

Terrible half defensively. What a school boy level error for the first goal.

On the second, the less said about Bruno's pass, the better.

This is the worst I have seen Bruno play. Just can't make a simple pass. Over hitting or mishitting everything. Needs to come off.
