To be fair to Basaksehir, they probably did not think that should would ever think about crossing the ball. Will definitely do some gambling later, as it seems a miracle has occurred.

He does! Lindelof makes a lot of minor mistakes but people latch onto them to form an opinion he's a calamitous defender when it's more Maguire who's usually absolutely average. I think if Maguire scored less people would have a much less favourable opinion.

Looks like players have lost their heads. I don't care how poor the coaching is, there is no way you can concede a goal like the Demba Ba one. Its basics of sensing danger & organization. Even for the second goal, Luke Shaw & VdB were just jogging back. Absolutely livid. Seems like no one wants to take any responsibility on the pitch.

This is where Ole shows he's out of his depth, he's so slow to react to what's unfolding on the pitch. Fair enough he couldn't predict the pathetic effort for the opener but then we had the incident with Tuanzebe because again Ba was left on his own. You'd like to think he or to some extent Maguire, see this unfolding and get the defenders to stay back they're getting caught up the pitch again and again and the aging Ba is hardly Usain Bolt. It was the same in the Tottenham game, Shaw kept drifting to a centre back position leaving a gaping hole which they kept exploiting, Ole needs to be quicker to react to what's happening in front of him and change things to prevent it.

I said out loud when the team was announced, featuring Mata and Matic thats its a slow midfield. You either play one or the other.
