So a new manager and we start with Casemiro and Eriksen in midfield. Interesting.Sky Sports just had it as Casemiro CB along the bottom in the Liverpool game.Sky showed the line up as Casemiro at centre back with Eriksen and Bruno in midfield.
Eriksen starting doesn't surprise me much - he's probably been out best player this season. I did think he might be one of the tens though, rather than being in the 'old is gold' double pivot. Fitness may well have been a factor - it usually is.Sporting fans. Is Amorim someone who'll change the players to different positions during a game. Say Amad for Garnacho or Dalot for Maz if things aren't going to plan? Or even just to confuse the opposition

Can't see Eriksen Bruno as CM
In the same way Garnacho isn't suited to playing wingback. I'd say Amad has more workrate than Garnacho. Probably why I'm thinking it's nothing more than a simple 4-2-3-1 looking at the players in the line up. It makes most sense.
Guess we will all see when the game starts.

I suspect that if Martinez was fit to start it would have been. As it is, Evans at LCB can't do as many fullback things, so the LWB has to be a more defensive player.He said earlier in the week then when you see the team it’ll look similar until you see the positions on the pitch. So you’d assume at least that it is still 3-4-3.
He also said he’ll start off using full backs as the wing backs so that would discount the Amad theory and you’d assume it would be the Casemiro at CB and Eriksen/Bruno midfield?
