Well that's certainly an interesting team. I didn't think we'd get Garnacho in the front three this early in the system's implementation. And I'd rather have Dalot and Amad switch sides if the goal is to put crosses in. Maybe it'll be that way in the game, we don't know. Excited to see who plays where and how they do their jobs. Whatever happens, TWO LBs in the squad is a cause for celebration already.

Expect that line up to be...

    Onana

    Dalot De Ligt Evans
    Mazraoui Casemiro Eriksen Garnacho
    Amad Bruno
    Rashford

It's bizarre people thought we'd get something radical.
It's bizarre that some people don't realise that he has to work with the players he has. He can't invent players and put them in his team and he can't do anything about injuries or players recovering from injuries that are not ready to start.

Unpredictable line up. Bruno employed as false nine?? I've been advocating that for eons. Not sure how this is a 5-3-2. All to be revealed soon enough

Interesting to see how the starting XI sets up and how some fare in unusual roles.

Most pleasing to see a strong bench and the return (for now!) for the likes of Shaw, Malacia, Mount and Mainoo. Shame there's still no Yoro and Maguire, and Martinez again added to the injury list - so still having to juggle things around defensively.

Where’s Martinez? Is he injured. No CB on the bench which tells us Shaw will be playing a lot at the back this season.

Shame Yoro isn't fit enough for bench, positive that he is supposed to have travelled though

Called Mazraoui starting at rcb. Don't think he suits what Amorim wants in a wing back and I suspect Dalot starting regularly over him will annoy people. The only surprise to me is Eriksen starting. Mainoo must not be ready and Ugarte probably didn't have enough time to train. Martinez and Yoro not ready. I suspect they will come into the starting lineup in the next couple games.

I expect it will be Garnacho at lwb with Amad as the 2nd am. Definitely looking forward to seeing how the sytem works in play.

It would be just hilarious if it is a 4-2-3-1.

Thousands upon thousands of videos, articles, posts, and tweets about which players will fit where in a 3-4-3, only for it to be a 4-2-3-1.

Amad and Garna on the same side of the pitch will be interesting. They can cover each other and swap places. I’m looking forward to that the most

Garnacho is playing as one of the two forwards with Bruno being the creator. Amad is playing WB

Was going to moan that the lineup announcement was still not in positional order, but it fecking might be this time

With Eriksen and Casimero as central midfield you can’t play his ”Sporting” system. Wait for the right players to be fit and hope that his charisma is enough to change the midset of the struggling players until then.

Sky had Casemiro in the back 3 with Dalot and Mazaroui as wingbacks and Bruno in the middle with Eriksen

When the lineups came on in the Southampton v Liverpool game that is.
