I feel for all the lads and lasses travelling to London, for a 7pm kick off, on a Sunday night. Getting back to Manchester afterwards is going to be a mare.

You just hope the trains are working properly on the way back and that the team actually shows some effort and guts.

To travel on a day as miserable as this, for a kick off as late as this, when you got work the next day, and see something like the Brighton game...

...Do better Man Utd. Do better. Nobody's expecting a performance from 15-20 years ago but at least be competitive and don't lay down.

It's so unfair on the fans. Pisstake by the PL.

Giving this game a miss tonight as opting to watch the NFL Championship games instead - more entertaining than watching this lot play and just fancy having a stress free Sunday evening. Hoping we win but just can’t trust this team one bit and won’t be surprised if we lose further points tonight. I just hope they prove me wrong.

If we play shit, send the players to do the fans' 9-5s on Monday. Sorted.

Absolutely - the PL really don’t seem to give a damn about the fans with these things.

Unless they work in a hospital. We don't want blood on the club's hands.
"He's a good player, but he just can't hack the pressure in a cold operating room on Monday morning. Ultimately, he's cost his team a few fans there."

Not looking forward to this. Think we’ll get slaughtered.

Isn't a 7 pm kickoff on a Sunday extremely inconvenient for you Brits?

Tad ironic I guess, given the gleeful reaction on here to Rangers travelling fans facing all those same issues after Thursday's game, that our away fans now face the exact same problems just three days later. Neither situation nice, and shows the loyalty of fans prepared to travel to support their sides.

Only difference with this one of course is that it's a weekend game - so a kick off like this, on a Sunday, is really avoidable and little excuse for it really. Definitely a joke of a kick off time.

Re: the last comment. You'd like to think the level of commitment of travelling fans would be reflected in our players commitment and effort on the pitch. But I wouldn't bet on it.

Feels like a loss written over it, big stoppage home win in Europe on Thursday to playing on a rainy Sunday night in West London, just says let down.

I think we will have the lions share of possession and have the best goal scoring chances, 2-1 home win.
