I really thought we'd see Fred today since our midfield is gonna get tired during this month of fixtures. What a waste of a signing.

No Lindelof is a concern, guess that explains why Bailly was in from the start last week, to get him prepped for this game. Guess it'll be him and Jones as the CB's

It's a bit impatient to write off Fred when he's hardly played for us. Also, when he has played, it's been in a changed lineup which does no-one any favors. No-one knows if he's not good enough yet.

I actually think the little times he has played, he has looked talented on the ball. It's off the ball where he has looked suspect which hopefully is just him adjusting to the premier league.

I'd like to see him get a run of games in a settled lineup first, then we can see.

I remember when Shaw was getting a game here and there last season and looked off the pace, you had many people clamoring for him to get sold... Now look at him after he's finally had the chance to put together a run of games.

Yes, it's strange why he hasn't been involved more this season but, only the coaching staff know if it's purely because they don't rate him and not other reasons.

He may or may not become a good player for us, the experience shows that he may become good like Shaw and Lindelof, but no one has really become great after starting this slow.

Contrary to this we have a lot of players that didn’t look good at the beginning and never became good enough eventhough keeping them in the team, players such as Darmian, Rojo, Blind, Schneiderlin, Jones, Fellaini, amongs others, so yeah he may end up becoming a reliable player but he will most likely not, specially considering he is not a youngster and he should be a finished product by now.

And like I said before no one has become really great after starting that slow, so at the most we would be missing a good player not a great one, I think nobody would lose sleep over him, just as Depay or Januzaj.

Would it not be a good reason to bring Smalling back in? We need aerial dominance against Mitrovic and Smalling is the only one who fits that bill.

I'm so confident we'll beat this lot that I wouldn't even be worried if we rested Rashford and Pogba for it.

That's a reasonable argument to be fair. Nice post. Time will tell i guess. Personally, i hope he proves to be a valuable member of our team as we could certainly do with someone with his raw attributes.

    MEN said:
Goalkeepers (3): De Gea, Romero, Grant
Defenders (6): Dalot, Jones, Young, Shaw, Bailly, Smalling
Midifelders (4): Matic, McTominay, Herrera, Pogba
Forwards (7): Chong, Lukaku, Rashford, Lingard, Mata, Sanchez, Martial
Like to see this, rest Young and Matic.

    De Gea
    Dalot -- Bailly* -- Smalling* -- Shaw
    McTominay -- Herrera -- Pogba
    Rashford -- Sanchez -- Martial

Subs: Lukaku, Chong, Lingard, Matic, Young, Jones, Romero
    *Jones is likely to start.

Kill the game early and then sub Rash Pogba Martial out, Chong Lukaku Lingard in.

They just showing the 05/06 Game vs Fulham and geez, forgot how bad the pitch was in those days. Good seeing Wes, Ronaldo and others play and didn't recognise Richardson. Love seeing Evra again, RvN's last season and vdS.

Who knows, maybe it's the baby... I was sure he would have been involved tomorrow. Very strange.

It can't be the baby, as he is not a mother (who must stay with this baby 24/7).

Well you don't know what's happened so you can't say it's not the baby. If there's been complications then he will want to stay with them.

Be nice if we stop a crap team from taking a million shots at our keeper for once. Got to be beating these comfortably, they are awful.

The more I look at our midfield options, the more confused I get about why we sold Fellaini, who, in my opinion, is a much better option than Fred, Pereira and McTominay.

I’m expecting a difficult game here to be honest. Think it will be edgy and a narrow win for ourselves.

I don’t think we should rotate at all.

    He probably wanted to leave.

Massive game today. Even if Chelsea grab a draw with City, still being on level points for top 4 is massive considering where we were just 2 month ago. Must win

Last time we messed with the team we dropped points at home to Burnley, we need the win today to move into 4th.

I’d start with the strongest side and take Pogba etc off in the second half if we have a comfortable lead.

Teams fighting relegation are never easy to play against away from home. Anyone thinking we can turn up and do them is deluded.
I will be so disappointed if Ole messes with the team and we drop points.

You’re all giving Fulham far too much respect. We’re in amazing form and will expose their dodgy defence.

We should win. Years of Moyes and Mourinho has put the jitters up us all.

Definately. Ole has been superb since coming in.

Maybe we should go for the strongest team available to us then take players off if we are winning comfortably.

I don't think you'll find any poster saying we aren't huge favourites but it's not about Moyes or Mourinho. We were going for the title when relegation threatened Wigan fecked us in 2012. Fulham came from 2-0 down to win their last game 4-2. It's not going to be easy.

Wait, so there is a manager of the month curse? And with Jones signing a new contract this is going to be a struggle me thinks.

    Leaked lineup

The leaker is out again and claims the lineup for today is:

De Gea, Dalot, Smalling, Bailly, Shaw, Pogba, Matic, Herrera, Mata, Martial, Lukaku.

Worth pointing out that for our game against Leicester, he did get one of the names wrong - he said Bailly would start but it was actually Jones. In this case, it wouldn't be surprising if Bailly started so Jones and Lindelof would be rested for PSG.
    Leak XI:

De Gea, Dalot, Smalling, Bailly, Shaw, Matic, Pogba, Herrera, Mata, Martial, Lukaku.

Didn't he get the last one wrong?

Either way, are we the only PL club that has line-up leaks? We need to sort this shit out.

The leaker had one name wrong last time. It would be a funny mark to purposely have one name wrong in the leak every time just to feck with the caf in guessing who it is.

We can't afford to rest Pogba imo, sub him early if we Are cruisin. Matic should see this from the bench though.

    Lukaku
    Martial Mata Alexis
    Pogba Ander
    Shaw Jones Chris Dalot
    God

Why did you put Pogba in a midfield 2 ?!
    Mourinho is back ???? :wenger:

I'd like to have another look at Chong. Play him from the start on the right.

    Martial Rashford Chong
    Pogba
    Matic Herrera
    Shaw Jones Bailly Dalot
    De Gea
