This is pretty much all you can ask for on a Saturday morning with a hangover. Get two more early goals in the second half and rest Pogs, Herrera and Martial.

Putting Smalling in was a great decision up against Mitro

    Very happy with that half

Started shakily but understandable given his lack of game time and got better as game went on.

2 players i was worried about standing out sadly stood out.

Smalling, Pogba, Martial, Herrera all amazing today

    Dalot, Shaw, Jones, good

    Matic, Lukaku, yeah not great

Dalot is so positive, feel form him trying to link-up with Mata and Lukaku on his side, what a farce.

Centre back and Right Winger and we'll challenge for the league. A back-up to Matic and we'll win it at a canter.

Pogba a monster, Martial causing them trouble. Credit to our defence, been good today.

Pretty ironic that we could go 4th with goals from virus and the man mourinho wanted to sell.

Poor first 10 minutes but very easy after that. Two really good goals and not much to complain about. Defense doing a good job, Herrera has been great and Pogba & Martial look dangerous almost every time they get the ball.

Hope we can score a third goal early in the second and start resting the midfielders.

It's crazy how Lukaku is a fecking statue. No runs whatsoever.

He is very poor, maybe playing him on the wide right like againat Arsenal might be a option. At least he won't do that stupid flick on to no one shit out there (hopefully).

Poor start followed by 2 fantastic goals although the keeper should have done better with Pog's effort tbh. Dominated after that. Pogba, Martial and Herrera outstanding. Lukaku needs a big second half, no shortage of effort, just not happening for him at all.

Happy to be 2-0 up, but Herrera, Mata and Dolot have all been poor. Lots of poor decision making from those three and sloppy use of the ball.

Martial scored a wonderful goal but has since tried to score the same goal another three times despite their being better options.

    Get the job done, Reds.
    Disagree with Herrera being poor

Frantic half from both teams.Herrera and Pogba have been class but Matic is in clear need of a rest.
Confident Lukaku will score today as the game wears on.Fulham just press far to high at times.Constantly open to the counter.

Great half. Herrera has been fantastic, Pogba's and Martial's goals were beautiful to see. Smalling and Jones have been good at the back and Matic has also been good.

I've also liked Shaw apart from a poor cross or two. Dalot's been ok but Mata and Lukaku can do much better.

I feel bad for Lukaku, he's trying, pressing the opposition and getting himself open for a pass, but things just aren't working out for him. Maybe it would be for the best if we go separate ways at the end of the season.

Terrible first 15. Two wonder goals. Divided between Smalling and Jones for MOTM if they keep it 0-0. They're dominating at the back with a great mix of strength, heading and blocking shots. A joy to watch.

Mata and Lukaku again our weakest players. Lukaku more so, every time the ball comes out to the right side, he runs close to his marker instead of into the space that's so visibly there. fecking infuriating.

Quite a good display. Though Lukaku isn't really in the game. Mata wasn't in it till about the last 10 min

Almost the perfect game before the PSG game. Fulham are v v average, and lacking confidence, and this isn't the greatest test for our team. That's important to highlight.

But we have been clinical, dangerous, and they are playing into that counter-attacking

Pogba has been superb, his advanced role now sees the best of him. That was the best goal I have seen Martial score at United, he almost seemed a little surprised himself. A fine goal.

Now it's about focus, pushing on, and not conceding.

The second goal was basically a result of Herrera's pressing.

I honestly think we'd lose nothing if Greenwood played instead of Lukaku, or just start Gomez and play Martial up top, anything for a bit of movement up there

    Greenwood for Mata.

Martial, Rashford, Greenwood will be fun when the time comes imo

I wonder if Ole has told Herrera to press as high as he has been. Its been effective winning 2nd balls in the Fulhams half, but its leaving Matic isolated when Fulham look to break.
He started further back and has moved further up as the half went on. Someone noticed there are a lot of stray touches at the back for Fulham in their defence and midfield and we're funding joy picking their pockets.

Herrera --> Sancez in the break. Or soon after.
Pogba --> Lingard around 60th minute.
Matic ---> MacTominay around 65th minute.

Park the bus, Martial can be lazy up front. Lukaku and Sanchez work hard in defense. Shaw stay back at all times and rest. Team almost completely rested before PSG.

2 match ban, no? Don't think

why a three match ban? It would be two, no?
From what I remember, if someone gets a red for violent conduct (3 games), but has already had a red earlier in then season, it adds a game .. so the 2nd red would mean a 3+1 game suspension.
Not sure if it applies for accumulated yellows.

Always the possibility that you have to ride out an early storm which we did and after that we were very good and look like scoring every time we attack. Sharpen up the decision making and we can get 4 or 5.

Hoping for 2 midfield subs in the 2nd half... Lingard for Pogba and McTominay for Matic or Ander

I feel bad for Lukaku, he's trying, pressing the opposition and getting himself open for a pass, but things just aren't working out for him. Maybe it would be for the best if we go separate ways at the end of the season.
struggle to think of a team who would buy him from us
