This is not the player we bought, and who was once (let's not forget) challenging Kane for top scorer in the Prem. He has become musclebound through too much time in the gym. Mata was getting more involved as the half wore on but Lukaku just seems out of place all the time. He's a squad player so it's fine, but you would expect more from him when he does start.

No changes at the break.Ander Herrera is just amazing. His form recently, though gone a little under the radar, has been amazing. We need a Right winger. We are very lopsided.Herrera, Pogba and Martial brilliant in that half. Looked nervy at the beginning, but we grew into the game and were controlling by the 40th minute. Fulham had the wind taken out of their sails with our second, they are there for the taking in the second half.Now is when it’d be nice to have Fellaini. Give one of the Big 3 a rest and maybe put an elbow into a Fulham player or two.Very pleased with the first half. I wouldn’t mind at all if the second is a forgettable bore so the boys can rest up for bigger game in midweek.
