Will be hostile environment, started well at Galatasaray last season but fell away in second half

Venue: Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey

That's a beautiful stadium by the sea. Why can't we build one like that?

Under coach Jose Mourinho, Fenerbahçe have had a bumpy ride in the Süper Lig, dropping seven points in their first eight matches and struggling to replicate last season's stellar form.
Christ. If dropping 7 points is a bumpy ride, what are they writing about us in their forum?

    Fred and Amrabat masterclass

Seems like a lot of the fenerbache fanbase, Turkish media and former players are already questioning mourinho time at the club, goes to show how much of a downhill trajectory mourinho was beginning to go on when he was at united and is just getting worse and worse to the point that he his managerial ability us starting to be doubted even in the Turkish league

No wonder... they just got a 2-2 at Samsunspor on the weekend. Who weren't allowed to do transfer business in the summer due to some violated rules and who are managed by Thomas Reis, who had his biggest success in Bochum (winning the 2nd Bundesliga).

That van Persie goal against us was 8 years ago! Feels like yesterday

Really need to win this, it's not just a case of finishing in the top 8 to qualify, teams are seeded throughout the knockouts based on where you finish in the league stage so for example 1st and 2nd can't play until the final.

I genuinely reckon we might see Mou versus ETH handbags, both under pressure and both feisty. Especially when we win 0-3 and the crowd turns on Jose.
Is he? Don't remember him seeing getting feisty with another manager? I also couldn't see Jose doing that against us, he has a vision of a crowd favourite whilst he was here.

We'll be miserable again against a mid table team. I don't think we can rotate that much but to be honest I would rest some guys if possible because West Ham will be pivotal too.

    -------------------------------------------------Onana-------------------------------------------------------
    Dalot-----------------------------De Ligt-----------Evans-------------------------------Lisandro
    -------------------------------------Casemiro--------Ugarte-------------------------------------------
    Amad----------------------------------------Eriksen---------------------------------------Rashford

Will take any victory and hopefully no injuries.

Hearing rumours a good few youngsters like Fletcher, Kone, Amass, Collyer etc to make the bench - Be nice if Obi-Martin manages to

    Is that due to injuries?

We're in quite a precarious position and need wins. So I can't see Erik taking many risks.

No it seems ETH has extended the u21s to train with the first team, think a good 10 - 12 are training and it's said 4 or 5 could travel and be part of the squad, assume it's for the experience or to shake the older lot up.

It's time for Antony to make Europe sit up and take notice.

Istanbul is the hair transplant capital of the world; maybe Ten Hag can stop off for a procedure after the match.

Don't see us winning this, the only question is if we can steal a point.

Just know that’ll it’ll be the good version of Fred that will shows up and cup final Amrabat.

As someone else mentioned Fred and Ugarte going at it should be fun.

Fenerbahce home form this season in all competitions P6 W4 D1 L1 Scored 10 and conceded 6

They are unbeaten in their last seven home games in the Europa league (W4 D3) winning 4 of their last 5 games.

United have lost both of their last two trips to face Fenerbahce 0-3 in December 2004 and 1-2 in November 2016 so maybe 3rd time lucky this time and avoid defeat?

Reports that a few of the youth players will e travelling .

Good! They should really. It would be a bit unprofessional not to.

25 man main Europa League squad with 1 suspended and a few injuries. +1 for Garnacho as a genuine first-teamer from the B list due to his age.

Can name a 23 player matchday squad.

Got to prepare for every eventuality too like the possibility of someone getting injured late or one or two picking up an ilness.

We'll win this one comfortably, I think. There's no way they're keeping out our front 4. Their team looks poor on paper.
Ah the oul winning comfortably prediction. Despite never winning comfortably unless we're playing a lower league side

We're going up against 2 ex-midfield players that were let down by our broken system and underrated as a result. Let's hope Super Fred doesn't turn up!

It's terribly sad that you are right. Looking at the clubs in the competition United should be miles ahead of most of them, but they aren't.

    - No news about Mount
    - Shaw training separately
    - evans probably out
    - Licha and de ligt starting again
    - Mazraoui and Malacia training with the core group and we might see the latter coming off the bench
    - Harry Amass, Ruben Curley, Jack Kingdon, Sam Mather, Habeeb Ogunneye and Ethan Wheatley training with the squad
    - casemiro training too which is a massive boost with no Bruno
