Rest everyone. Send out the kids. We’re going to lose anyway. At least we get to test the young uns

Fred and Fred's replacement VS Fred's replacement replacement

Our remaining Europa fixtures after this are all pretty straightforward in theory, so a loss here isn't the end of the world.

It'd be great to steal a point but I don't have a lot of confidence.

There is absolutely no reason to lose this game. They will be aggressive and press hard, just don't feck up in the first minute.

We need a big game from what I'd imagine is a 2 man pivot of cas and Ugarte. Bruno floats with the same front three.

Please, for the love of all that is holy and good can we just twat this lot 5 - 0

Away from home in Turkey is hard. A win is a win.

True. Was hoping the footballing Gods heard my prayer. Obviously I'll take a jammy 2-1 win away from home but a proper twatting is what I'm requesting. We've been deprived of that feeling for far too long

I mean it's possible, but again we are Schrodinger's football team.

Plenty of PL faces in their squad. Fred and Amrabat obvs, but also Soyuncu, Tosun, Dzeko, St-Maxi man just to name a few. Interesting match up I think, hope we can take some confidence from the Brentford match into this game. Shame I can’t watch it, fecking stupid TNT. I miss the CL on itv. :(

    Bruno's suspended.

We should be rotating for this match where we can with the West Ham game on Sunday.

    -------------------Altay--------------

    Dalot ---- Lindelof----De Ligt----Martinez

    Erikson-----------Ugarte----------Casemiro

    Amad-------- Zirkzee----------Antony

Altay apparently been asking to play this game and for more game time and this is his former club, don't see how we can rest Dalot by my God he deserves one - Worried about an injury there, same with Eriksen really.

We need to rotate as I think some of these are going to get injured and cost us more, with that in mind, I'd go with

    Altay
    Maz Lindelof De Ligt Martinez
    Casemiro Ugarte
    Amad Zirkzee Antony
    Hojlund

Antony on the left, zirkzee with Hojlund - Really think this team can do a job and rest a few key players

One of Antony or Amad may start. No chance both of them start. We've only got 2 points from a possible 6 so far. Ten Hag will likely start his strongest 11. I don't think we'll see rotation until Leicester in the Carabou.

Don't disagree, I'm saying what I would do as I think we risk an injury, the team won't be any different from last game if it had to guess, maybe Maz comes in, that's about it

Fair. I wasn't sure if that was your predicted 11 or preferred 11. I would also rest 1 or 2 of our frontline plus bring Lindelof in.

I want to see the chemistry between Zirkzee and Hojlund..

Getting points from this game is just as important as the West Ham one - more so, really, given we've only got 2 points from 2 and only have 6 games left to recover the poor start (as opposed to 30 in the league).

And Fenerbahce away is every bit as difficult as West Ham away, so we need to send out a strong team if we are to pick up the much needed points.

No way we should rotate for a tough and important game, or prioritise the upcoming league game instead of it. I know the latter is a standard instinct for many nowadays, but even if the priority is CL qualification then the EL is as good / better opportunity for it than the league.

We have to finish in the top 8 to qualify for this stage. Plenty of games left. Top 16 gets a play off. We are already playing catch up in the league. The team above should be more than decent to get a result against Fenerbache. Rotation also ensures we avoid injuries.

If Martinez plays CB, Dzeko just spends the game on him and inevitably scores because of ridiculous height and strength advantage.

Fred 35 yard screamer incoming too.

Mourinho running down the wing on his knees as the cherry.

Hopefully none of this happens and we manage to get a win, like we should have vs Porto until the CBs decided you know what lads, we’re giving you the points today.

Watched the second half of their match against Samsunspor yesterday, they weren't impressive.

Amrabat and Fred to run circles around our midfield to prove a point.

Jose will be enjoying every minute of it.

We seem incapable of winning a game away from home in Europe no matter how mediocre the opposition is, so I've become totally desensitised to predicting United wins on the road.

Probably finish 2-2 after spunking our customary 2 goal lead.

I genuinely reckon we might see Mou versus ETH handbags, both under pressure and both feisty. Especially when we win 0-3 and the crowd turns on Jose.

Could be wrong but I'd be amazed if Ten Hag plays Zirkzee and Hojlund together for this game. It's one of those combos we might see for a home game if qualification is guaranteed, but even then Erik is so conservative that he probably still wouldn't try it.
