That lack of control comes back to haunt us yet again. No one to blame but the manager. It's simply never been part of his plan at United to learn to control the game through considerate possession, so it's no surprise we're found lacking when we suddenly need it.
You can of course look at the contributions of specific players, and several were certainly found lacking in that half. But this has been such a continual failing on ETHs team that it's feels pointless blaming the players. No one can thrive in this chaos.
We could win second half still, they don't look so clever at the back. But the overall approach is just one that has been shown not to work. So even if we do win, we still won't achieve much this way. You can't just toss a coin every match.
