    Another game in Europe that we have blown a lead. 2 goals up should be in total control yet we’ve let Porto back in this game. You can just see another Copenhagen or another Galatasary here. Rashford is our best player so far and glad that Hojlund is off the mark.
     
    The Dalot in centre mid experiment needs to stop.

    Rashford is notorious for switching off defensively and not tracking back, and our left back is often left exposed. The solution to that problem is not to remove the left back.
     
    Why do we keep conceding 2 in quick succession. Its incredible. The only thing we absolutely excel at is a collapse, we are the very best in Europe at it.

    And its terrible because we had a good half it's like we send out lookalikes for 10 minutes
     
    Also felt like Casemiro was good for the opening ten minutes and has now reverted to the usual Case.
     
    Even at 2-0 I was thinking we've turned a few 2-0s into 2-2s under TH. Unhappy to be right!

    Rashy seems to be able to walk past their defence though, so all isn't lost just yet!
     
    Two or three times, Rasmus has made great runs in the box and we aren't good enough to pick him...playing it backwards or sideways instead

    Dalot is a fecking pussy, shirked away from the 50/50 that gifted them possession for the 2nd.

    Doesn't matter who the manager is, if the players don't have bite to win 50/50s and second balls, we're never going to do naff all.
     
    Great run by Rashford just before half time. He's been great. Bruno's created some good chances and Onana's been very good. Everyone else has been really poor unfortunately, especially the defence.
     
    Very similar to our European away games last season. Chaos football relying on individual moments. Will probably have a similar outcome, 3-3 draw or 4-3 3-2 loss.
     
    Was just finishing up a guelling seminar and saw United 2-0 , was thinking “I need to switch off and watch a handy win, thank god!!!”.

    Switch on tv and it’s 2-1 and Porto equalise within a minute. F**k this.

    Porto have never changed. A vile club who have no interest in football. Just diving, injury feigning, card waving cnuts.
     
    I think that rashford chance at the end sums up the difference between us and teams like Liverpool/City.

    They would have the awareness and intelligence to assess they’ve overran it and their chance of scoring is poor, so they’d make a little touch to try set up a teammate to run onto it.

    Where we just bumble through and try the odds without the awareness the chance has died. Quite frustrating.
     
    This is giving me Copenhagen & Galatasaray vibes from last season. 2 goal leads just thrown away like it’s nothing.
     
    Eriksen and Rashford best so far, Hojlund, Amad and Bruno acceptable, Casemiro poor, and entire defence disgraceful
     
    That lack of control comes back to haunt us yet again. No one to blame but the manager. It's simply never been part of his plan at United to learn to control the game through considerate possession, so it's no surprise we're found lacking when we suddenly need it.

    You can of course look at the contributions of specific players, and several were certainly found lacking in that half. But this has been such a continual failing on ETHs team that it's feels pointless blaming the players. No one can thrive in this chaos.

    We could win second half still, they don't look so clever at the back. But the overall approach is just one that has been shown not to work. So even if we do win, we still won't achieve much this way. You can't just toss a coin every match.
