    I really like this from ten Hag. Push your left back into midfield in possession, play a geriatric midfielder that physically can’t cover wide channel on the left side of a midfield triangle and on top of it free your left wing-forward from any defensive responsibility (fair fecks to him, he’s been very productive up front tonight).

    What if they attack through that flank? Let’s just hope that they don’t figure it out… oh wait.

    Rashford looks up for it today. Defense poor while names on paper should be fine, which is a worry.

    Not too fuzzed after watching garbage for most of the past 10 years. The apathy struck some years ago i'm afraid..:(

    Left back or right back he's just not good enough.
     
    Rashford has been our best player in the first half. Eriksen second best.
    Dalot and de Ligt is at the other end of the scale.
     
    Could end up being 4/5-2 this. We're missing chances and giving too many away at the other end. Easy to imagine us switching off for 10mins again and getting hit with a goal or two.
     
    As poor as usual. Can’t create anything other than counters. Can’t defend to save our lives.

    Everything is chaos and no one seems to know what to do on or off the ball. Huge gaps, useless pressing, players getting outduelled all over the field. Fragile mentality and no cohesion anywhere.

    The only reason we’re still in this game is Rashy’s newfound confidence and two blunders from their keeper.
     
    Very entertaining half.Could go either way,be happy with a draw from here.At least we turned up tonight.

    Obviously Dalot is following specific instructions from ETH. He's been inverting all season

    I did try telling people in the summer. Pointless signing that didn't raise the level of the first XI.
     
    Went on to betting app to put few quid on Porto at 1-2 and they go 2-2 won't bother now there 6/4 favs . Utd 2/1.. that's crap odds . 4-2 Porto hope I'm wrong but this lot fold seen it before and Rashford off hes a liability can't or won't defend his runners ..

    It's not tactical when you look at the decisions the players are making. It's a lack of effort and application. Probably still on the manager but it seems to me looking at the two ridiculous recent goals where one player ran the length of the pitch that Ten Hag has lost some of the players.

    It’s quite rare that teams play with two inverted fullbacks, usually if one goes centrally another one falls back and keeps his position. It’s unlikely that they were given same instructions. Not that this experiment works, kind you!
     
    Again 0 pressure on their right back/winger defensively. Dalot and Rashfrod are a joke.

    Just look at how much time and space there is for their player to cross the ball. No one's challenging him. Rashford watching.

    Left back can't be isolated if we got no left back. I can't argue against that logic. Just like how we can't get overrun in midfield if we have no midfield. Truly ahead of our time.
