Ehh, we could get something in Turkey and by the time we play Bayern they'll have nothing to play for and might rest their key players so we could scrap a point. Gala should lose both of their remaining matches. So we still have a shot at third.
We have a fabulously shit record in Turkey so don’t expect anything there.

What's the point of the ref even going over to the screen? Seems like a bit of a token gesture as their brains seem to shut-down when they go over to the monitor. Fecking dumb it is.

Definite red, could easily have caused serious injury.

In that case, every time a player goes for a bicycle kick or overhead kick, that should be a red. Head injuries are serious, too. Arguably more so. Doesn't matter if it causes an actual injury or not, it could cause an injury.

They need to get rid of that handball rule. It’s just beyond ridiculous. Makes the officials seem like fecking morons with no common sense. Surely there are people implementing these rules who have played football before.

Blimey, Diogo Goncalves, we had him on loan back in 2018. He was bloody awful - only made 7 appearances. He’s come on a bit.

I’m saying you don’t have a clue what you’re talking about and have likely never played, or perhaps seen a football before. One has to plant ones foot somewhere, and when one is looking at the ball to shield it, there is a chance one might catch someone when planting ones foot.

As a professional player you have to have awareness of what is happening around you. I apologise if I'm discussing football with a maldini or a Stam though. In that case you know defending far more then I do.

Agree with Scholes and Hargreaves, first was a dud call, second Maguire only has himself to blame reaching out to grab the player like that

Pretty sure their first goal was offside. There's a player in front of Onana when the finisher strikes it?

What they did was shocking. They imprinted in his brain the contact first with a still and then they rolled the clip. Wtf was that all about ?

Yep, I’d expect that this is something that is changed in the future.

Somebody can hurt with innocuous challenges. The outcome is irrelevant.

He didn't go off his feet, or do anything violent, the attacker challenged from behind him and tried to nick the ball away and got hurt by accident. Rashford was just unlucky. It should never be a red card.

I want to be in EL at least. Can't believe people want to be out of Europe completely.

Whenever the ref goes to a screen, it's almost code for the video refs telling them, "yeah, you dun fecked up."

All logic has gone out of the window.

Stop blaming refs. How about being 2 nil up with 10 and keeping it tight? Usual lose the heads, turn to rubbish. Slight bit of adversity and they all fall apart. Never ever seen a team fall apart after reds like ours.

You're right. Let's see in the second half what this United team is made of. A draw? Sneaking a win? A small loss or a big loss?

Scholes and Hagreaves disagree with you, do they know more about defending than you? You’re being utterly ridiculous.

I don't understand people saying that's not a red. That challenge is given as a red 9/10 times in 2023. Maybe you don't agree they should be reds, but they're given practically every time nowadays.

When did close proximity get removed from the handball ruling? How is that a penalty ? What is Maguire meant to do?

It's part and parcel of defending in your box. Penalty decision is disgraceful.

It’s a yellow for being clumsy. Reminds me a bit of that straight red Nani got against Madrid.
