I understand why Rashford was sent off,
But I don't understand those who say "you can't do that, it's a clear red".

Have you guys ever shielded a football in your life, with your mates at the park?

This is the only way of doing it. you look solely at the ball, and, low and behold- you have to land your feet somewhere on the field.

If you start looking down at the pitch to see where your feet are landing with every step you take, you won't shield the ball anymore.

I'm really really annoyed by the red card,
but it's obvious that it will be given, with how they present it to the ref.
You can't really complain about it with how the law is written. it's just annoying as feck.

Not give away a 2-goal lead in 15 minutes. That's what i'm expecting them to do. The red was a red card, even if its harsh and the penalty was a penalty. There were two fecking handballs in the box within seconds.
    Found Anthony Taylor.

Why does Ten Hag use one of those multi colored pens what everyone used to feck about with at school?

The colours resemble the Dutch flag so he had to purchase it

Europa league is our best hope for getting champions league football next season. Might work out for the best.
Don't care really. I just don't want games on thursday (a lot of games). We're shite enough and injuries problems to play this competition nobody cares about.

We get terrible decisions also in the premier league because our manager is weak. He just meekly accepts everything like he’s scared of losing money due to fines. Spineless twat.
VAR decisions are ETH’s fault people! I think he’s also to blame for AIDS and WW2

I think the decision is right (lack of intent is not a mitigating factor as some here seem to think), but it’s essential there is a structured, (repeatable for every single case) way of showing a video to the ref. If you are going to show, say, a 10 second clip, you MUST show it from 0.00 seconds, and arguably you must show it at full speed first, and then the ref can ask for a slower replay (again from 0.00) if he wants that. That’s the only fair way to ensure the ref is not swayed by first impressions, whilst still giving him the autonomy to take a closer look if he feels it’s warranted.
What they did was shocking. They imprinted in his brain the contact first with a still and then they rolled the clip. Wtf was that all about ?

ETH must go full Mourinho on VAR and referees this time. It’s gone too far

What's amazing to me how much hype and talk has come from the Danes over this match. We've not challenged for the CL or league for ten years and spent a lot time in Europa yet you'd think it was Real Madrid. The refs have bought into this scalp as well I fear.

Perhaps we're just paying a hefty price for the Super League nonsense from the CL and PL?

What should he have done as an alternative, hopped on one leg until the coast is clear?

He was being challenged from a direction he wasnt facing, how is he supposed to avoid that?
Every other player on the pitch has managed to not forcefully plant their studs on someone's shin, maybe ask the other 21 players how they've managed to do it.

These are shit. There's lots of mistakes in their defenders in particular, so it's not gone yet. Watching 9 men Spurs the other day I reckon they'd have kept these out. We need to be aggressive like they were and push them mistakes.

From Copenhagens point of view, if we leave Bruno on the right then that's where they can exploit us. Move the ball from right to left quickly across the back line and they'll find joy, as their left back looks quick and will exploit the lack of cover. We need to close that avenue.

There is zero point the ref even looking at the incident. If his superiors have asked him to take a look then he’s never going to go against it even if he doesn’t think it’s a red in his heart of hearts

Feck me, things are never easy are they? First time I've seen us look comfortable all season and then it all goes to shit anyway. I think we are extremely unlucky in both of those big decisions. Clearly an accident by Rashford and the Maguire handbag comes from so close and while he's kind of grappling someone, it's not like he's just stood there with the arm out.

The biggest concern is how quickly we've folded after those events. At least try to look like you're going to hold it together for a while.

Sometimes an opinion is stupid, yours is one of those times. If you are able to give Rashford grief for something that’s not his fault you’re simply not above criticism.

So you're saying that one can't shield the ball without nearly maiming the opponents foot? Ok

People can have no complaints about either decision. Clear red and we've had way worse handballs given against us than that in Europe. Just a shite the bed performance.

There’s a middle ground where you can accept the red card is warranted, but feel like it was made more likely by the initial screenshot the ref saw as he approached.

At the moment it seems to be pure luck what the referee sees first as he approaches the screen.

VAR only made it more difficult for referees, it emphasizes how shit some referee decisions are and they are more afraid now.

It’s a top tier pen. I still try to push them down all at once. Countless hours of fun mate

I still don't understand how reffing has gotten so much worse over the last two decades or so. Or that's how it feels. It's like every technological help they have is completely negated by willfull incompetence.

I don't understand how we're having penalties given against us in EVERY single CL match, we're not even a dirty side. That was NEVER a pen.

Some of our best football in months, best move of the season for the first then ref decides he wants to ruin the game. Red card? maybe but very harsh, so often not given. Penalty? A fecking joke, but it is a shame how we lost control so quickly - I did think Onana could have done better for their first

Thought we had turned a corner after those first two goals.

I didn't realise those creepy ass twins from The Shining were around that corner.
