  • Unless he got another xi or the current xi suddenly got a revelation and started to love him, i dont see how giving him another 200M and another 12 months gonna improve anything much.

    At best case scenario we'll still be mid table team.

    Better sack him now, he's not the man. A serious messiah would at least salvage our seasonnto a respectable top 10 finish, not 15th
     
    The club has no interest in football performance, there is pretty much no fixing our current situation anyway with the debt and owners we have etc

    Thats on the ball. Defensively Maz, De Ligt and Maguire seem on different pages like with the first goal and 2 of them trying to play offside while the other is deeper and playing them onside. And then the 2nd goal Maguire seems to be waiting for Onana to take it, but for some reason he lost his balance when making the first save and never gets it back properly to jump at take the ball. More waiting for someone else to take responsibility when I doubt Onana calls for it since hes not ready for it.

    It's not just the poor technique. Our players are physically and mentally weak. Most of them aren't even competing. Any United captain worth his salt would be absolutely losing it right now. But we have the guy with the worst mentality ever leading us.

    They don't care, and to be fair, why should they?

    They know that no matter how badly they play, they'll be picked regardless. They know that ultimately it'll be the manager that takes the fall, not them. They pick up silly money every month no matter what, and it's clear none of them have any sympathy towards the supporters. They just don't care and it's pretty simple to see

    Rasmus I tried to have some sympathy for, young player having to lead the line on his own, but he's now just woeful

    Dalot seems to be RA's "My Rashy shall always play" despite not deserving to

    We are so slow and insipid to watch, the players regularly make inexplicably dumb decisions and just give up.

    Ineos fecked this season up for us by keeping ETH despite 90% of last season being garbage. And not only that, they gave him more money to waste, meaning we had none for RA in January.

    Absolute fecking shit show, at all levels.
     
    Today has been a frustrating game because I think it could have looked a lot different. We gave away two sloppy goals but Zirkzee and Hojlund have picked the ball up in dangerous areas between the lines and have given it away cheaply every single time. You want to know why we doing create? This is why. Ugarte and Case have been outrun big time in midfield and they’ve been sloppy in important moments which has just piled more pressure on us.

    The good side is that obviously Dorgu looks the business and has been a threat, giving us some balance. The CBs and WBs have been more aggressive, but I think they’ve been let down by the midfield at times not backing up that aggression. And our ability to find the front 3 between the lines has been better, they’ve just made nothing of it and that’s criminal really when you look at the situations they’ve found themselves in.

    Being 2-0 behind today is the perfect example of why I believe most of our issues come down to personnel and not the system. I actually think the system has served its purpose today and the players have been in dangerous areas, the fact they’ve made nothing of it is fecking criminal. I can’t get over how wasteful Zirkzee has been. This sums up Amorims problem, you can’t rely on anyone to string two good performances together.
     
    Onana - Clown needs sold - 3

    Maz - Had part to play in goal but game so last ditch tackles- 4

    Maguire - Loves to clear off team but not opposition - 3

    MDL - Kept Everton onside for the goal - 3

    Dalot - Hasn't been involved ag all except creating more pressure for the defence - 3

    Dorgu - Has been the only bright spark - 6

    Casemiro - Legs have gone at 33 and shouldn't be anywhere near the squad - 4

    Ugarte - Has the thankless task of being OK the same side as Zirkzee and Dalot - 5

    Zirkzee - Nothing has stuck to him, everytime he gets it he loses it - 4

    Bruno - Hitting the first man with every set piece, but some nice linking with Dorgu - 5

    Hojlund - Completely isolated, barely any involvement- 4

    Eriken and Garnacho need to come on at half here, how we miss Amad

    How do we still need 2x CBs, a new keeper, a Striker, an attacking midfielder and a B2B midfielder, we are never getting 6 in the summer so we may as well let RA go
     
    If there’s a silver lining here, maybe most of the “fans” in this thread will disappear and defect to supporting City ;)

    Yet more ineptitude and a terrible bit of business. We could have saved the £130m on the hapless Mount who we didn't need and Hojlund, and have £30m to spare with a Kane purchase.
     
    I thought I have hit rock bottom in my misery as a manchester united fan. Not surprised to find out there is another lower level.
     
    No shots on goal. Need to make a change up front. Against Spurs he stated he didn’t make changes because he felt we were close to a goal. If he thinks the current players are close to a goal, he’s looking at the wrong goal.

    That's unsurprising, given that we're playing a formation that hasn't got any wide players. That's kind of the point of this formation. You can argue about the formation, but that's not a selection issue.
     
    I am starting to hate the players. Looking obvious that they have stopped trying. Players are barely competing for balls, not tacking, jogging back after losing the ball.
     
    Whispers the other day this lot weren't happy with the tactics. No fight or passion which is the bare minimum from professional footballers. Downed tools.

    He needs to make an example of these players but if he's not brave he will just end up sacked shortly.

    Going down would be the end of the club. We’d end up in administration and ultimately would be liquidated. It’d be like what happened to Rangers but worse.

    He actually leads to chances being created though doesn't he? Isn't that better than having a completely non-existent attack or any goal threat whatsoever. At least there's hope.

    Isn't he also up there as the person on our team with the highest amount of assists over the last two seasons? And goals. It's laughable that people think playing Zirkzee or Hojlund over him has any logic.
     
    I’d be making some subs and telling them to go sit on the bus.

    I felt Everton would give us a beating but some of these guys need to go this summer. Have no idea what Maguire is doing but puts simple passes behind the player he’s passing to so they have to adjust and recover killing momentum. Standing watching a ball intended for him and decides to leave it for Maz putting both of them under preasure. Then the not jumping thing. Just awful.

    DeLigt not been that much better so just get Yoro and Heaven on and see what happens. Probably leave DeLigt on with them.

    Cas off. Fed up of him playing these lofty floaty passes in. It’s like he has just kicked one of those 99p floaties
     
    A lot of this is confidence issues, I don’t think they collectively know where the goals are coming from, and it breeds a sense of worry in the team that runs through every area

    I get you but some of the things they do makes no sense for a pro. Running away from the ball, missing a 5 yard simple pass with no pressure, not being able to control the ball. I'm talking about the most basic of the most basic football elements, stuff you learn kids.
    These feckers aren't able to do that consistently
