I hate games like this. An incredibly scrappy goal and one from a set piece, yet we waste all our chances.

Also, Marriner can feck off. Every time we touched them he gave them a FK, yet they (especially that twat Barry) has been going through our players all game

This half has been a good reminder that our weaknesses early in the season are still there. We're still very vulnerable to counter attacks, both the goals came from Everton breaks. That to my mind is the link to our record against the bottom sides. We can't deal with teams who sit deep and compact and attack quickly, back to Leicester and West Brom this was an issue.

Young has been poor and Fellaini is being targeted well and possible lost his head a bit. Games like this reaffirm my belief that Rooney cannot play as a lone striker, without people pushing up alongside him, he's been anonymous.

Perhaps Di Maria in for Young or Mata, but a system change is probably needed. Falcao will be utterly pointless, need RVP in and perhaps drop Rooney behind for Fellaini.

Genuinely surprised by our performance so far. The ball out of defence has been slow and unambitious, and United look totally lost when having to play through Everton's five man midfield. Lots of congestion in front of Everton's area and we seem to have no idea how to break through it. Its a little like what we used to see from Arsenal, playing in front of teams and getting suckered on the break and at set pieces.

As bad as we have been, and we've been awful (Rooney, Herrera, Blind, Valencia, Fellaini especially poor), it is incredibly hard to play football when one team is being whistled off the park for every single little contact, and the other side is allowed to infringe at will.

Rooney is playing as a striker, yet keeps dropping back into midfield. We need him on the defenders shoulders toeing the line, not dropping back into a position where 3 players are playing.

I think we've been found out with our style of play. What it needs is individual brilliance but unfortunately the players that were brought in like Falcao or ADM have been disappointing to say the least....

I for one do think we deserve to be two down, Everton have played us perfectly and we didn't heed the early warnings. We need to change a lot in the second half, otherwise it could get silly.
