It really does feel like Carrick is the difference. Still, I expect us to come back.

Ok half when we have had the ball, though we aren't really getting a whole lot of penetration. Everton are doing very well on the counter, and look more dangerous than us. Though we are doing a decent job of helping out there attacks with some average defending.

Will be tough to get anything from this game now, but hopefully we can get back in it. Though could just as easily concede again on the counter as we start to push more for those goals.

Exactly. City have been shit and if we finish below them it's a bit embarassing.

Not really, you guys have been worse over the course of the season. This 5 game run 3 games of which you were brilliant has created a false view. You are still a fair way off the top level.

Thought we were pretty good until the second goal. No belief since, need a good kick up the arse at half-time. Di Maria for Young, time for him to get his United career up and running.

more possession , more shoots on goal but still behind by shit defending . fecking piss poor half.
Poor shots. Straight at the keeper. Herrera, Young and Blind should have been doing better with their shots. At least Blind's shot was with his weaker foot.

The second Everton goal has stopped us in our tracks it seems. Looking a bit toothless right now.
Yup, we died a bit after that one. We should be ahead, but are behind. Rooney and Young invisible, Herrera too. Marriner hates us for some reason. Annoying game. Carrick's our main man.

We are missing the WC players that turn this procession football into goals. No forwarded thinking player wants to beat a player. Valencia can't go past people anymore.

It's got to be Di Maria on for Fellaini but you know it's going to be Falcao on and Rooney to midfield.

We've played nice football (at the very least we are good to watch again) but have nothing to show for it.

    Two careless goals.

    Referee making some bizarre calls.

Undeserved but we need a bit more pace and precision in the final third. Wouldn't surprise me if we go the diamond in the second half and we throw Di Maria and Falcao on.

Fellaini, Blind and Herrera should all have scored. Poor shooting and decision making.

McNair following his strange trend of playing fantastically then following it up by playing like a teenager that's won a competition to play for the first team. He isn't ready.

Both goals are on Valencia. Shite.

We've actually played reasonably well, similarly to in recent weeks, the difference being is that we've gave away two rotten goals. I get the feeling that today isn't our day.

Can't say im surprised. We have always struggled at goodison and today is no difference.

Our defending has been poor and getting caught on the counter so early in the match was criminal. Its basically the same blueprint that chelski used against us. Mcnair was too weak in the tackle and Blind was nowhere to be seen. It just goes to show you what a huge difference that Carrick (and Rojo/Jones) makes to our team. I just feel like Blind has been really poor today positionally and has not contributed much in terms of penetration.

I think its time we played our best players like Di Maria. Young has been in good form for the latter part of the season but he is beginning to tail off. There is basically no service to Rooney and someone like ADM will change that.

A lot of possession but no real cutting edge. Its just really difficult to break down everton when you have only Rooney up top and nobody supporting him. Fellaini hasn't been very active either.

This is just an awful team away from home and our defense, for all it's so called improvement, is an almighty joke. We still need 6 points for Top 4 and with our away form, I don't know where that's going to come from.

Honestly, if we go about this right in the second half we could easily win. They're not exactly great, but we've been shite in front of goal. Need ADM and RvP/Falcao on -- don't care about form, give either of them the chance Fellaini had and they take it.

No fecking chance Falcao scores there.

Gary Neville is such a bell end. Whenever one of our players is onside, he calls it 'the edge of offside'...there's no such fecking thing. Whenever the opposition is offside, it's, 'ooh, not sure if he was on or off'...we know your trying to be impartial, but talk sense you tit.

Thought we played well apart from 2 lapses in concentration in giving two goals away. To score from the corner after two previous attempts is just laughable really. And our two defenders on the first goal scared to make a tackle wasn't much better either.

I think Rooney needs to do more up front too, another poor performance in Liverpool from him.

Not really, you guys have been worse over the course of the season. This 5 game run 3 games of which you were brilliant has created a false view. You are still a fair way off the top level.
Aye, we need to learn how to park the bus better to achieve that I suppose.

Very frustrated to go in to the break 2 down. Defensively we have been all over the place and we can't control Everton's pace and power going forwards. Mata, Herrera and Valencia aren't doing badly trying to get the attack going but we are now finding it hard to create chances that we were earlier in the game.

Pin Everton back and stop the counter attacks, and we will be back in this game but there has to be an improvement in the second half.

Please stop with these ref conspiracy theories.
What conspiracy theories? He's been shit and giving everything to Everton. Not many have cried conspiracy, just a shit reffing performance that's severely affecting the game in one side's favour.

A good performance with 2 sloppy defensive moments, Fellaini missing a sitter and Rooney making no forward runs. No wonder Falcao was warming up.

Everton have scored 2 and credit to them for taking the chances and punishing us but we should have stopped all of their efforts prior to the shots comfortably.

No chance of getting anything here

    1) we have no plan when the opposition put 11 men behind the ball

    2) Ref won't give us anything.

At the moment we're actually easy to play against!
