Perhaps Di Maria in for Young or Mata, but a system change is probably needed. Falcao will be utterly pointless, need RVP in and perhaps drop Rooney behind for Fellaini.

I suppose no one who's complaining now was upset last week when we were hit on the break and created feck all against Chelsea? I know they're a better side, but this is very similar to last week, yet the performance last week was heralded as a sign that we're gonna win the league next year cos we had so much possession.

I don't think we've played badly, or at least the first 25 minutes we were the better side and Everton got a jammy goal which we ought to have cancelled out. Since the half hour we've done f all, partly because the ref's giving a free kick every time Fellaini breaths near a blue shirt.

Yep and teams know how to play against it. Pack the defence and midfield and pick us off on the counter.

Lack of end product and shambolic defending have again put is in a bad position. We've had an excellent run of form before last week but we should be concerned about having to play teams lower in the table because we simply don't have quite enough pace or efficiency to get behind 9 or 10 men who are parking it.

This is another game IMO where we're getting killed by Valencia's lack of playmaking abilities. Martinez is not stupid, he's overloading the left and middle and giving Valencia all the space he wants on the right because he knows, just like Mourinho, that your chances of getting scored on are much less when he is in possession than Young, Herrera, or Mata. It doesn't help either that Mata often drifts centrally when we move into the final third to link up with Herrera, leaving Valencia to his own devices out wide.

I wasn't excited about Blind getting into the lineup because I found it odd how he was mentioned as doubtful for this game and suddenly he's back in the lineup. I understand that he's an important player for us but he is really not doing enough as the holder and looks slow. I hope that he doesn't aggravate whatever's bothering him.

There are 2 goals in us, certainly, but I find it very doubtful with how Everton plays.
