Collmmanding first half. We really need to start taking out chances. Good signs so far though.Excellent half, for me the most convincing 45 mins of football that Utd have played under Ten Hag. It looked like a style that can work and suits the players on the pitch. More of that please.Amad and Zirkzee had a mare. Mainoo isn't that good either.Very disappointing not to be going in at least one up.
We're still just a touch casual. Like we just don't have the edge to go and really make that goal happen.
It's not a headache, Shaw is a dead baller. Can't be relied upon
Amad’s been quite good. Bruno on the other hand has been poor passing wise again apart from that final ball into Zirkzee/Garnacho.
I do think our midfielders struggle in general to find strikers. Bruno/Eriksen/Mainoo/ anyone else all tend to look wide far more than in the middle.Good control and good fight and domination in this 1st half, hopefully they keep it upNeed Ugarte for Bruno and push Mainoo little up in the field
Won't be Mazraoui it will be Dalot pontentially dropped.That was the best we've played in a while (in the league) and still don't have the lead. Completely outclassed them until last few minutes. Henderson playing well though, as expected.I think Amad has been decent, why are people criticising him. To be honest I can’t really fault anyone that half, top top performance just didn’t take the chances/needed a little luck. If we can match that in the second half we will win this.Piss away chances

I think it's Martinez that will be dropped. Shaw as LCB in this formation with Dalot tucking into midfield would be great.We’ve dominated and played well enough but seriously disappointing that we aren’t ahead.
After watching how Liverpool and Chelsea ran up the score quickly against terrible defences earlier today, I can’t take much joy in us faffing around near the goal.
If Glasner has any sense at all he’ll change from that awfully lightweight midfield and add a lot more physicality. The second half might not be as easy if that happens.Struggling to see this hype with Zirkzee that some see. Feel like around the 30th minute we started to break our structure and push more which led to them sort of getting back in. To it and us not finding our players as easily.
Shape looks better, defence pushing further up not leaving a massive gap and midfielder Dalot with some cracking passes.
Be interesting to see what happens there if and when Shaw gets back. As it’s a role he should thrive in.Solid half. Shame we haven't scored.- Status
