It did kind of work last year. Best defensive record in the league and at one point playing some of the best football in Europe.

Personally however I do think he should have made concessions and gone back to Ole ball. But people said they wanted progressive football and he is biting the bullet and trying to bring that.

However how do you fix players generally just being terrible?

    Europe was suffering then.

Really tells you just how good Bruno is.
    He is actually worldclass.
Palace is just walking around now and we can`t even create a chance

If Ineos are really serious about rebuilding...they have to sack the manager tonight or in the morning and they need to tell several players to instrut there agents to find them a new club. There are 3/4 players good eough at this club to start...the mere fat people are mentioning DAlot for POTY and lauding him this year for being less shit than most....he is still shit
I have a feeling not a great deal will change... this is why I want the sheikh because he would certainly have shaken things up (no pun intended)

Tell that to the people who usually crop up when he drops a clanger
Yes agreed there’s a great deal of people ready to jump on anything he does. Not played well but nobody has in this performance. I’d be far more concerned with the fact they are cutting through us at will. Any keeper will struggle under those circumstances.

We've made the square root of feck all chances all game....

... how does Amad not get a kick?

Last season is why I think his system does work. However, you'd think due to injuries and lack of depth in certain areas, he would have a second system to use.
The top-top Elite managers have at least 2 so they can change the system mid-game if things aren't working out.

ETH seems hellbent on using his system, even if he has to put round pegs in square holes - which ends up in us not playing his system at all. (Low block as opposed to high line, huge gap between attack, midfield and defence as opposed to tight and compact overall.)
Even LVG had 2: 5-2-1-2 and 4-3-3 which played very different.

Højlund too when through on goal in the situation before? Quickest VAR check in the history of the game, yet again, when it's us.

Looked like it was outside the box, so VAR isn't doing anything about that anyway.

Mainoo might have been offside in the build up as well.

It was also outside the box.

To lose by this margin and in the manner in which we have is utterly unacceptable and humiliating. We may as well have just walked off at half time and not come back.

Yes, our defense is trash. Yes, the refereeing has been awful. But look at how we're attacking. Or more appropriately how we're not attacking. There is no plan is place. Just improvisation. If space opens up, great. If it doesn't, just pass it back or lump it. It's demoralizing to the highest degree.

Casemiro is done at this level. He should go home to Brazil and join a club there.
Sadly he won't. He is on an eye watering amount of money for another 2 years yet. He clearly didn't walk away from Madrid to come here and win things. He came for a massive payday and like suckers we gave him it. He ain't walking away from that in a million years

Alright, I know he's not much cop, but with Casimero forced to play at CB, why didn't we start with Amrabat at DM? Surely that's the position we loaned him for?

there are so many why is Erik doing X this season you could do a series on it.

Is there any scenario where ETH stays in old Trafford?
Considering next 2 games are against Arsenal and Newcastle, teams much stronger than Palace and both of them will have no shame trashing us with large score difference, I cant imagine any owner having the self control to not fire Erik

Which is sad because we will fire manager, keep most of these useless, horrible players and nothing will change

If anybody thinks Tuchel or any other manager won't shit bed with the clown players we have, good luck with that
