    In fairness to these players there's nothing left to play for now. The best places are gone and no proper team wants EL and ECL so might as well just phone it in.

    Of course he is and that comparison is actually disrespectful to Barthez. This current clown is a very poor impression of a goalkeeper.

    What amazes me is that such a large portion of the fanbase has convinced themselves this is the best you can expect from a Premier League goalkeeper.

    I think you're right, I do wonder given FFP if they are waiting for some clause re CL football at the end of the season because it's clear the squad have given up on him completely.

    What’s so obvious about it? We have no structure whatsoever.

    So he is playing a system that we don't have the players to make work, that even with a full squad has not shown itself to be a viable system and this is a defense of him.

    Being incapable of adapting is not a great quality for a manager.
