As he himself said what is the point in changing the style of play to then have to change back when players become available.He’d rather stick with the style and work on it for the players that have a future.

Season is over for most of this squad. They checked out mentally.
The point being that making silly excuses for this not being his squad is not logical when our best players this season are ones that were already here. He clearly has no issue with dropping players he does not want or like.
And no, I was not criticising Garnacho or Mainoo, just that they are his players. He clearly plays the players that he wants. OK, well you're still saying "bought" (which means to buy) when you mean "brought" (which means to bring). He did not buy any of the young players, or the free transfers.
As for "his players", we'll have to agree to disagree. For me it's quite clearly disingenuous to claim an ancient Jonny Evans that we gave a contract because he was training with us and we were running out of centre backs as "his player", the same with young players who are playing far more than ideal because we don't have anybody else.
As for the ones he actually wanted (Onana, Mount, Antony), the only one that's an abject failure is Antony (although again, the price is on Murtough rather than ETH, it's well documented that we could have gotten him for about £35m less than we did eventually). The jury is still out on Mount given that he's barely played this season, and Onana too really as he's had some great highs but also some rubbish lows.The worst part of all this is that we are easily the worst coached team in the league. By a long way.

Eriksen wasn’t a loan, but a free transfer, but I’m counting that, and Evans, which I’m also pretty is just a one year contract since he was released from Leicester last summer. That only gets us to 7. Someone including two academy graduates in that to make an argument of “players bought and money well spent” is absolute nonsense, (unless they’re on Rashford money, but that shouldn’t be ETH’s job!) so no he’s not “technically correct” (7 does not equal 9) and neither are you (since you’re talking about loans that aren’t loans)The petition for Tuchel to say at Bayern will get a fair few more signatures after this game seeing ten Hag, that is for sure.
