Going to smash these 4 or 5 nil.

Bookies are just trying to make more easy money by having shorter odds on Coventry.
Bookies odds are moved by where people put their money. The fact we're conceding 20+ shots on goal a game and we have no defence or midfield left to play might have something to do with people putting money on a Coventry win.

Or they just shorten the odds to suck more money out of idiots.

It's not the only way the lines move, it's a contributing factor though

Why would shortening the odds on Coventry attract more bets on them?

The odds reflect what people think is most likely to happen. As usual.

We will win easily, but who even cares at this point? We will just make this season longer and end up serving City their double on a silver platter in the middle of Wembley. Well, I guess it's the box office storyline the FA want, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get helped by VAR today as well.
I care, support United so would like to see them win a trophy

I always want us to win, but more importantly, to win with style and commitment, not just to scape by, or get a lucky win.
How can anyone predict what we’ll see today, going off our recent form?

Whatever the outcome, we’re not going to win the final in our current state, especially looking at who we’d be facing !
One trophy in 7 years, is going to be one in 8, barring a miracle.

    .

Hope we don't mess this up today.

Obviously, a win is the most important thing, but it would be nice to see a convincing performance, where we are able to dictate the game, create chances but also look organised off the ball.

Those are the fundamentals of football and they will never change, regardless of system, personnel, etc.

If I was him Im going to run towards the bush when the camera isnt looking and replace myself with an actor. Then we will swap place again when theres only 10 metres left and i will be taking the glory of 1st place. I might be a bellend doing that but at least I win.

It'll be a 2-0 win with a few scares along the way.

ten Hag is bad, but I don't think even he will bottle this.

Did you watch them against Wolves?

    I did.

Wembley, big pitch, not many players will have played there, etc. United will have just enough to beat them. Experience.

I wouldn't be surpsied if Coventry play well for large spells though. They'll have a go.

Can we please just try not to concede another 20 shots. The amount of shots we have conceded in the last 10 games has been a disgrace.

This season has been something else for injuries. So only fit centre back tomorrow is Maguire who himself was clearly carrying a knock last weekend and a bang out of form Casemiro has to drop back to play at centre half tomorrow?
Our U18s just won their league. Erik can play Kingdon as CB against fecking Coventry and should still win.

No excuses! And I don't care who we are meeting in the final, not winning at Wembley an FA semi-final against a championship club is absolutely unacceptable!

Big ask with no LB’s, no CB’s and 2 RB’s on the pitch! :wenger:

To be fair, this has been happening from the start of the season when we had our strongest XI.

We conceded 23 shots against Wolves with a back four of Shaw, Martinez, Varane and Wan-Bissaka.

As said before, this is a structural problem. Nothing to do with personnel.

Is the news on Kambwala, Mount and Amrabat confirmed? I only saw the tweet from Fabrizio - hoping he has it wrong but probably not.
We need to be on our front foot and play to our strengths (attack) and not underestimate a team who will for many be playing the game of their careers.

Was on choc-a-bloc train with literally carriages full of Coventry fans. We were swamped with them, also United in the carriages, but about 20:80 split.

No bother with everyone getting along well and departing at Wembley.

Got to speaking with a group of them and they're very upbeat about today. Either we smash 'em, which is to be expected, or they give us a proper game. The ones I spoke to have full belief they'll have their chances to win today and will give us a game.

I suppose it's win, win when you've made peace with losing but wouldn't be surprised if you end up in a decent game. No such thought process here!

Not to underestimate them, but one fluke win over Wolves doesn't make them all that. They are sitting 8th in the Championship, with 3 losses in their last 5 games. We are utter shit, but we will beat them on quality alone, in spite of our suicidal football. I'd be more worried if it was Wolves.

I think we will prevail through sheer quality as you said but I think some are a little bit arrogantly dismissing them. They are a solid side.
