No but they've a chance to run in behind if we play to feet. Fellaini behind them will win them, flick it on or bring it down and into play.

Yeah, I can see that working. Nice idea. So something like

    ....Herrera, Pogba.......
    Mata, Fellaini, Young
    -------- Mhki------

    Else could go strongman route:

    ...Herrera, Carrick
    Mata, Pogba Mhki
    -------Fellaini-----

I just saw Ogden's tweet and thought he was taking the piss

Well this has just turned into mission impossible.

Whatever the lineup;Chelsea have to set up to combat the team that's in front of them.

Now they have no idea who'll line up against them:lol:

Can't see Carrick not starting this one due to the way Cheslea play. We need someone more disciplined than Pogba in the middle. Fair shout on Mikhi up top though although don't think that's Mou's way based on how much time he's given Rashford there, reckon Fellaini is more likely to start up top.

I think the only choice will be Matic or Fab in midfield. Our setup won't change a bit.
Why would it. It's a winning team;why tinker with it?

All the questions need to be posed by us not you

    De Gea
    Valencia--Bailly--Rojo--Shaw
    Herrera--Carrick--Pogba
    Mata--Mkhitaryan--Lingard

subs: Romero, Darmian, Smalling, TFM, Jones, Young, Fellaini

    lol

I say it's time to park the double decker.

    De Gea
    Rojo
    Valencia - Jones - Smalling - Bailly - Blind
    Herrera - Carrick - Pogba
    Mkhi

This is our only hope I reckon. Also need Jones to take out Hazard and Costa like he took out Rooney in training.

Also not a bad option. Think this line up in particular would frustrate them.
Problem is if Chelsea break through early on: how to readjust to try and win the game.

Blessing in disguise. Fellaini Hattrick from 3 Ashley Young crosses.

Absolutely not a 4-5-1. We need to play a 4-2-3-1 or classic 4-4-2. Take the game to them and attack. Cause them problems. Make them react to us. Test them in every area, give them difficult questions to answer. The pressure is on them as they are favourites and playing at home. They will be hard pressed to prove that they can replicate their league performances in the cups. We need to be asking tough questions instead of sitting back and playing not to lose. Attack them and put their hastily cobbled defence to the test (Azpilicueta is a full back playing CB, Moses is an attacker playing RB, and Luiz is just shit). Set the bar high and force them to panic.
Treble have you revised your plans after the recent injury news?

There's a mantra going on about Fellaini playing top.

    Based on what exactly?

    De Gea

    Valencia
    Bailly
    Smalling
    Shaw

    Carrick
    Herrera
    Pogba

    Mata
    Fellaini
    Mkhitaryan

Play this and the only difference from virtually our best 11 is Fellaini in for Zlatan. Fellaini holding the ball up and chesting it down/laying it off for Mhki and Mata could work very well.

Can't believe that with strikers we're going to play our usual 4-2-3-1, nor a 4-3-3, nor even a special 4-4-2. Definitely a 3-5-2, my guess.

    ------------------De Gea
    --------Smalling--Carrick--Rojo
    Valencia-----Herrera---Pogba---Darmian
    ----Mata----Mkhitaryan---Lingard

    I'd play Pogba up front.

A bit surprised to see that no one else (unless I've missed it?) has suggested this yet.

Mikhi/Mata/Lingard behind him, with Herrera and Carrick in midfield. This would also mean that Pogba would be closer to the goal when attempting his notorious unpredictable skill moves/dribbles. I think he might actually put in a decent hold-up play as well.

Why the heck not. Just do it.
