Why on earth did Januzaj not shoot there? And Phil Jones taking corners again? He is having problems passing the ball five freaking yards.

Rush forward to what space? There isnt too much you can do when the oppositions whole team is defending. The greatest team in our recent time, Peps Barcelona struggled time and time again to break down Chelsea whenever they met. Because Chelsea usually always defended deep and in numbers.
You can't blame Wilson when he isn't getting the ball. The runs are there but we don't pass it
No point complaining about them being defensive if we're just so slow building up. Gives them time to get back.Hmm, this 4-4-2 diamond isn't great against their 9-0-1 formation.
True, with the ball shocking, defending he's like a brick wall that you can't help running into.Jones has been awful so far.. Too many bad passes from him.
Ahh, so you are on of those who defend Di Maria in everything he does?Yeah cos Fellaini is having a stormer...
There are very few valid excuses for Manchester United to be struggling against Cambridge United. The pitch and the opposition's defensive tactics are not among them.
Herrera back to Spain in the summer then. Atletico/Valencia? Shame, that.
Actually the pitch is wide enough that isn't the problemI don't think we've been that bad.
Their pitch is shit and tiny. It's been difficult to find space. Cambridge have been difficult to break down and hungry for the ball.
We just need to quit conceding corners and set pieces and speed the game up a bit more.
They'll tire out eventually and hopefully we can get a few goals. I'd possibly bring Herrera on for Wilson around the 60 minute mark.
He seems to be of the few it does matter to, his reaction when he scored in the last game showed that. The others are playing it like a pre-season friendly.Bring Herrera on for Di Maria. Someone who might care.
Cambridge being compared to Chelsea?
Says a lot about the rest of them then.
ADM is actually playing.
One of our strikers could simply get down to get the ball then, Rooney style rather than sit in the box doing nothing. Agree that our midfield is cack this game though.
Really?
First news. Where did you hear that?
I agree to a point.
We don't look threatening but the pitch and environment isn't easy. They are well up got it and we look like we are trying to get up for it during the game.
Jones has just been poor today.
Januzaj has been poor, slow, weak.
Falcao hasn't had anything to work from
Wilson hadn't had anything at all
Di Maria looks a bit frustrated
Blind and Valencia have been ok
Rojo has been a monster! Quality display.
To be fair they constantly broke down Chelsea it was just would never go in. They had chance after chance.Rush forward to what space? You'd rather have Fellaini on the pitch - when he has done almost nothing at all for the entire half - than Di María - who has at least tried to affect the game?Ahh, so you are on of those who defend Di Maria in everything he does?

Januzaj, Rojo and Blind look like proper footballers.
Carrick doing very, very little. I think he's playing too much.
Di Maria was poor but he is dangerous.
Jones is brainless.
We have a big hole in midfield, why don't we move Blind there? He seems to be our main player anyway.
Herrera doesn't seem to be LvG's cup of tea, really. Just a hunch.
It looks exactly like fear to me, could be a long road back from last seasons debacle. They're clearly not comfortable playing LVG's way yet. Hopefully that'll change over time, or we'll bring in some players who are...
Does it matter? They are better players and should be doing better against Cambrighe ffs. There's too many excuses being made for these players. We're not very good at football.
