    We have a Carabao Cup game at OT against Palace midweek. He will likely give the ones coming back from injury some minutes in that.

    I guess we wouldn't have signed Evans if we didn't think he could start the odd game. Hoping for something from Hannibal. Christ our squad is wrecked..
     
    Yeah, not getting the shock about Evans starting with three CBs (and Shaw) who'd be ahead of him unable to start tonight.

    I'm just a bit worried that he's having trouble with the foot he broke last season. If it's not healed properly and he needs corrective surgery then we're well and truly fecked!
     
    That CB pairing really worries me. Has Martinez’s absence been explained yet by Eric and if so, are we expecting him to be on the sidelines long term?

    Happy Mejbri gets his chance and great that we have Amrabat on the bench. Hopefully see him get some minutes tonight.

    Oh I forgot about that. To be honest, I don't care who is playing tonight, they just need to find a way to win.

    You people really do come out with some assumptions. What do you mean no other club were willing to take him? Evans would have had offers but if I was in his position and Man Utd offered me the chance to come back, I'd take the chance. In his position, being 5th choice for Man Utd is better than starting for a relegation candidate Premier League team or a Championship team.

    He will have had offers from teams but being back at his club was better so he wouldn't have gone.

    What a shite excuses those are, I have no idea why some of you have to come up with some excuses for Ten Hag? He could have easily started Garnacho or Martial instead of Mctominay, and have Bruno in midfield with Hannibal and Casemiro, both of those would be better lineups. He could also play Eriksen for 45 minutes and start Amrabat in the second half.

    Mctominay is literally one of the worst players in the squad who don't deserve to play even when there is no one around, and especially not after performances he's had and lack of running he showed in last two games. He doesn't deserve to be in the squad, let alone first XI. This just goes further to show that Ten Hag doesn't punish bad performers and that people and criticism are right.
     
    Will probably be the diamond again, would rather it be Cas-McT as a deeper 2 and Bruno off the right with Hannibal pushing on.
     
    We'll fecking twat them, Evans to score from a set piece. Hannibal will be breaking legs and eating flesh. Lets go!

    How's everyone assuming it's a diamond ? It's the normal 4231 with Bruno wide and Hannibal as attacking midfielder.
     
    If we beat them and ten Hag managed to go on to success with us, this lineup is going down in folklore. Though it's also going down in folklore if we lose.

    Pray for a win, however we get it, and move on to the next game where hopefully more players are fit.
