    All he has to do is cut inside once and shoot with his left. Even if it’s a wild effort it would be enough that next time he can make enough room to get a better shot off.

    It's very promising. I hope that the coaches just overload our players with shooting drills, as we badly need it. Our finishing isn't clinical enough. Not yet, anyway.
     
    Very good first half performance, deserve to be more than the single goal up. Feel a little aggrieved with the ref decisions, I think Burnley would have been given both goals if it was the other way around, but I guess it’s home calls. So far so good but it’s important to remember we ballsed up the Boro match from same position and similar display so need to keep our heads and remember to defend properly.
     
    Should be 4-0 up.

    So... Fluke 2nd half goal by Burnley to make it 1-1?

    Think we’ve hit the target more than against Boro, but I they need to pick their shots better.
     
    I’m sorry, but Rashford’s really starting to annoy me, he seems to make all the wrong options.
     
    We have played 2 teams a tier below but the signs are promising.
     
    Played well first half. Sancho and Shaw linking up well on the left, Bruno and Pogba having good games and defence very comfortable.
     
    I’ll be happy when those disallowed goals are disallowed against us. Will fall into the not enough in it category for sure.
     
    Ref fecked us. We're playing well. They haven't even had a shot on goal. Our performances have been improving.

    Should be completely clear but the officiating has been diabolical. When someone as incompetent as Stuart Attwell is manning the VAR...
     
    We’re battering those lot. Ever since we switched to 4-3-3 we actually look like an organised team… players staying on their side of the pitch to hold shape/ width, making actual runs off the ball to move players out of position. McT as well seems to actually be learning how to play as a holding midfielder!
     
    Goal comes from Rashford on the left, yet he is back again out on the right after and is literally zero threat when on the ball out there. Paid 70m for a right winger and what do we do, play him on the left.

    Need to press for that second goal and not be so careless, or it's going to be another Boro type game. Burnley are there for the taking and just going to give them belief while it's still 0-1.
     
    Lord, no wonder we're underperforming relative to talent. The selfishness of our attackers is amazing. We would be Liverpool if they didn't all share the same brain cell in the final third. I've never seen so many attacks break down over refusal to make 3 yard passes.
     
    Should have been X:0 at half time. I'm starting to see a pattern form here. Rashford is just bad. Should be assigned to sub duty.

    So far, so similar to Boro. We need a 2nd to finish these off.
     
    Worrying how many chances were getting and not putting them away. Need to be ruthless infront of goal, 1-0s are far to dangerous!
     
    Much like Friday night United have total dominated the 1st half and would be 3 or 4-0 ahead but for some good saves from Pope and debatable decisions made by officials to disallow two goals.

    Now the main question is what United side will turn up 2nd half.
     
    This pogba I'd give a new deal? Good half even if we should be more than 1 up. VAR, ffs , that guys getting nowhere near that ball, but it's a rule that's been consistent, when spotted. Another goal please. Mctom looks leggy , can see him doing 60 mins off then. Or before. Bruno looks himself again which is good. Pope is having one of those games .
     
    United absolutely fantastic, the officiating absolutely woeful
     
    Probably our best half of football under RR. Some very nice tidy play and movement. Should at least be two goals up. Still really pissed off with that disallowed goal but it is what it is when you’ve got incompetent officials in our game.

    Need to score a few more hopefully this upcoming 2nd half.
