Lovely
Lovely
We beat Burnley away with Fred & Matic pair last season and Fred is different to Kante. Either way, I'm stating what I believe Ole is going to play not what I want us to play.
Not to disrespect or underestimate the opponent, but we should be able to play with Telles and any CB together w Maguire, and still win this. If in doubt, better save injured players for a Liverpool and play Tuanzebe plus Maguire and Telles.
Fully agree.I'm saying the Burnley game is first and Lindelof is a better fit for Liverpool anyways so starting him against Burnley seems counter-intuitive.

Where's the idea of Pogba at LW coming from?
I think Pope will be back but I doubt all of McNeil, Rodriguez, Taylor, Brownhill and Westwood will be unless Dyche rushes them back with the sole goal of shithousing usLooks like Burnley will have all their players back including Pope who’s going to get 8/9 out of 10
Yep and some mentioned as missing aren't first choice players, Pope was always going to be fit as was on the bench at the weekend.Looks like Burnley will have all their players back including Pope who’s going to get 8/9 out of 10
He played as a LM then?because Ole twice deployed the diamond midfield in Vila and man city games with pogba on left. I think it compromised more than gain for the team. Hope we don’t do it again.
maybe we can try put pogba on right among a front three.Just let Rashford do the work on left, please.
Rashford-Martial-Pogba
Bruno
McFred
LB-LC-RC-RB
Yes, but in some sense, a hybrid of LM and LW in that setup. When Bruno moved to the left to support, he operated as a LW. During transitioning to defense, he tracked back as LM. I guess that’s why some saying LW.He played as a LM then?

Think it'll be
AWB, Maguire, Bailly, Shaw, Rashford, Matic, Pogba, Martial, Fernandes, Cavani
Burney don't concede many goals. Should be a tight game.Fairly typical that we play then just as they've settled into improved form - they started the season even worse than us, which isn't easy!!
I guess if we play well, we'll get win but this feels like it is one of those games where we forget to turn up. You can guess the line up butI'd love to see Cavani up front instead of martial who simply won't trouble their CBs in the same way.
We really like to see Pellestri or diallo on the bench to give us something new and something Burnley won't know anything about, but it won't happen
I can't stand them. I know it's a tricky fixture for us, not least with their physical play, but if we score more than one goal we should be collecting 3 points. They've amassed 9 goals in the league this season.
Don't think this is a game for Pogba, regardless of position.
Would also prefer to see Henderson as his bravery is useful against their aerial bombardment.
------------------------Henderson
AWB-----Tuanzebe------Maguire-----Shaw
----------McTominay--------Fred
Rashford-------------Bruno--------------Martial
---------------------------Cavani

I'd like to see Diallo too, but if he is not ready then, although they might not know anything about him, he could still be ineffective at this stage. Depends how does in training, assuming he has had a few sessions!
Play the strongest team possible no players "saved" for the Liverpool game. We could end up with an egg on our face and lose both fixtures.
Yes.Is it right that if Maguire gets booked tonight then he misses Liverpool?
Agreed. What is our strongest team though?
Traditionally the teams we struggle most to beat are the ones that sit back and soak up the pressure...No team has conceded less home goals this season than Burnley.
This isn’t going to be a fun watch.
