Didn't open the article, just went by the Twitter quote, so don't shoot the messenger:

This is so silly, City are far from defensively solid, their good record comes from dominating the ball so teams can't mount attacks, and Liverpool have been shaky defensively through much of Klopp's run, more myth creation from Mourinho to excuse himself.

Could do with Lingard finding his long range shooting boots today, given how shite our attack is in general. Something to boost the confidence.

Fellaini instead of Fred, didn't see that one coming.
10 out of 11 is still good.

It's a good team, looking forward to it!

I can guarantee Lindeloff will give them a goal. How he gets a start after that sh*tshow cameo last week is beyond me.

feck thought this was on sky. Well can't blame them. The way we're playing, you'd probably get more entertainment from an episode of Little House on the Prairie

Little House on the Prairie. I remember watching that for a few minutes when I was a kid.
If there is anybody who has problems going to sleep at night, watch Little House on the Prairie - you are guaranteed to fall asleep, quickly.

One bad half against Brighton and dropped completely by Jose

Ugh, was hoping it was an injury rather than Jose losing faith so quickly.

He had a very good pre-season & deserves to be in the match-day squad.

Hard to second guess Jose's teams . Like he's still unsure of his best side.

Lukaku starts up front again while rashford and martial sit on the bench.

    Absolute joke.

Given how poor Lindelof was when he came on I thought Bailly would start and I figured Herrera might start over Matic because Matic doesn't look fit, adding in Fellaini just makes this already tumescent side even worse, no stream for this so I'll catch the highlights if there are any, later.

Called it. I knew he would panic after 2 defeats and think his trusty lieutenant Fellaini would add steel to the midfield for an away game.

Expected Pogba to be benched to make a statement though, not Fred. Harsh.

I can see why he has brought Fellaini in, but it just proves to me that Jose worries about the other teams far too much and the other teams know it.

He gave it one half against Spurs and then reverts to type again. Still think we might nick it though.

Attack wins you games, defence wins you titles. The importance of a goos defence is not a myth nor is it the confidence it brings the players in front, we hear that ALL the time

    Predictions:

Lindelöf gets embarrassingly bullied in every encounter with whoever their CF is, and gifts them a goal.

We spend 80mins of the game lumping long balls to Fellaini.

Sanchez has an absolute stinker again.

    1-2 United.

    Fellaini and Lukaku.

I honestly can’t think of a worse centre back pairing than Smalling and Lindelof. Utter crap.

Looks like we are going back to basics with Fellaini and Matic protecting the back four.
    DOUBLE PIVOT AGAINST BURNLEY.

Also, I'm gonna be fuming if I see Sanchez or Lingard even thinking of crossing the half way line! Need that EXTRA PROTECTION :drool:

I'm actually happy felliani is playing because he generally plays as an effective attacking midfielder. He also brings strength and desire to battle which we need for the win today.

I would have switched lingard for rashford and a switch sanchez for right wing.

He had a very good pre-season & deserves to be in the match-day squad.

He hasn't lost faith he's constantly praised him. Jose just going for experience whilst we dig ourselves out of this bad form, far too precarious of a situation for a young lad just learning the position

Someone predicted Fellaini would start because Burnley are good in the air. Good call.

Didn't the kid who was the star get into heroin and wild sex orgies? Maybe that was another banal show from that era.

    Happy with Lindelof over Bailly.

Fellaini over Ander, Periera or Fred... safety first I guess..
