Backing him endlessly makes it feel like all is rosy and less pressure on him means he stays in the job longer. More protests forces the club into making a decision or considering that decision and gets him out sooner. If many of us feel he is the wrong person for the club and plenty never wanted him in the first place, surely they feel for the long term benefit of the club is to get him out of it as soon as possible?
That's never been the case though. Woodward sacked Moyes and LvG despite both having fans' backing (atleast the majority) to the end. LvG did get some boos but overall there was some support.
If there is one thing Ed has shown, its' that he doesn't go by fan's opinions. He does what he wants, quite honestly.
OK, let's hope we win today.
