The deciding factor being an away game, my guess.Young is better than Shaw. Shaw's also played a lot of football in a short space of time returning to fitness. Perhaps he's just resting him?How many chances will we gift to Burnley today, this will be a hard watch.I put Shaw in the XI, but I had a feeling Young would start. Should have followed up on my hunch.
Fact is, Jose praised him but sees him as a work in progress. He is not going to risk defensive lapses against Burnley, and so started Young. Just because Shaw gets praise doesn't mean Jose is trusting him completely either.Pretty offensive lineup for an away game. There goes Pogba's liberty or midfield control, you chose.
I was kidding cause the moaning about Shaw was inevitable. I mean he got back in the frame, he's doing good, no point in crying every time he doesn't start.

Shaw needs to learn that this he is at MUFC. No it's not - he has played a lot of matches recently. He needs a rest - and Young short-term is better than Shaw simply because he has an end-product. I thought we might see Aaron Lennon in Burnley's line up today. At least as a sub. I'm glad he's not though. When he's at his best he can be a really good player. I think Evra still has nightmares about Lennon running at him lolNot a fan of the two man midfield, wish he would scrap it once and for all.We need to score first. Same here fella; I thought Ander would start as they'll be aggressive, and Luke because he deserved his place for me.I went for Shaw against my better judgement. I had a feeling with those words of praise for Shaw from Mourinho he was gently letting him down.Score first and early and we’ll be fine.Our bench doesn’t look brilliant.Not surprised Young comes back in, offers more in attack than Shaw. Not a game for Mata in my opinion.
Starting next week we'll have Mata on it.Reckon Mourinho will switch to a midfield 3 in the second half after we've struggled to control the middle for a whole half.
Two man midfield not only cost us defensively, it also hampers us going forward.
Burnley are not a free scoring team. Sad that we conceded 2 goals to them at home.
I reckon our midfield will be okay, but I worry for Matic, he's playing non-stop.Shaw is a better, more rounded full back, however, I can see the logic in this case.
Burnley are hard to break down and that inswinging cross to Lukaku has been an effective source of goals in these sorts of games this season.
