Very similar to when Liverpool played them. Burnley away is always going to be difficult and not very pretty. One of those EPL fixtures which you just have to write off a little and say 3 points, in any manner, is a good outcome.

I'd say Lukaku was really good today tbh. He was left isolated at times, but he held up the ball pretty well and did incredibly for his assist.

The football genius's here seem to think if any one of Lukaku / Martial / Rashford / Lingard et al don't score every five minutes they should be shipped out!

I agree we're not fantastic to watch at the mo (consistently), and the constant playing the ball back towards our own goal frustrates me but we're doing the best with what we've got and not getting behind the team just fecks me off!

Why is it so difficult for some here to figure out that you can win a game and still not play well?

I'm happy we got the three points, we made it harder on ourselves with lack of effort in the first half and lack of attacking composure in the 2nd.

We do not play well against physical pressing teams, even under Fergie. I think its a lack of application and we were wasteful up top. Lukaku had hardly any service with Mee and Swarkovski or whatever the feck he was called around him.

Not sure what got into our attacking players today but boy, were they selfish.
Rashford needs extra training on how to look up for passing options and setting others up
instead of charging blindly towards goal.

The difference with me is I will and can criticize the teams performance and a players performance but I dont abuse specific players. A lot of you need to grow up on here abusing players and wishing they would leave etc

Are you serious? He held up the ball brilliantly and started that attack completely by himself, and that assist wasn't simple whatsoever. That goal doesn't happen without Lukaku in the team today.

Lukaku could have bagged a hat trick, had players found him when he was free instead of banging the ball over the crossbar or wide of the post. Pogba and Rashford were guilty of this and Lingard could have passed to him when he was free also.

Lukaku is getting into these positions and not receiving the proper service then.
