If we continue our recent run of starting strong then allowing the opponents to rule the entirety of the second half, then we're going to end up losing this.

Keep things tight after that initial stint and we should be fine.

It’s an away game against a tough opponent. We are losing this. It won’t be fatal for top 4 but yeah this has defeat written all over it.

Hoping we go with the same lineup as Villa, with AWB coming for Malacia and Dalot going to the left.

I think Bruno is probably the most effective option off the right, and allows us an extra option in the midfield battle with Sabitzer thrown in.

Happy for Sancho to continue in the starting XI - he's looked good since the semi-final.

How depressing these threads are becoming. We were losing the Cup semi, losing to Brentford, to Villa, even to Forest according to many of the doom mongers in here. Brighton are a good side and we might lose but ffs, a bit more positivity wouldn't kill people. We're understandably finding things a bit of a slog at this stage of a monster season but we've won 4 and drawn one of our last 5 league games. I'm cautiously optimistic.

As an Albion fan, I hope Wan-Bissaka doesn’t play as he coped extremely well against Mitoma, and alongside Lindelöf was probably your man of the match at Wembley.

Safe journey down to anyone visiting the Amex tonight.

I think AWB will be one of the first names tbh. He is the lockdown king.

Most time I won't have confidnece to play away, but for some reason I am quite optimistic to win tonite.

Our backline despite all those injuries still playing very well, and last game Cas also back to good form, Bruno playing great as always, Rashy and Sancho also available too.

I would say 2-1 Utd, Cas and Bruno scores

What's the average time getting out of the ground, onto that shit train and back to Brighton station post match mate? Can't remember how long it took me last year.

Our league form is actually very good at the moment, bar the brainfart of a half v Spurs.

We've won every game since Newcastle and only conceded goals in the second half against Spurs.

No reason not to be optimistic for this.

Away fans get away quicker than most home supporters. You should be back in Brighton within an hour maximum all being well…

Why's that? Station on our side of the ground then?

Can't you just build a stadium in Brighton?

Think we'll win in a scrappy match. 0-1 Bruno.

So many thursday matches this season

So many matches this season and every 3-4 days too. I got flashbacks of the 08/09 season when I was getting burned out watching games by March.

I don’t think we’ve had a full week off since the Queen died. It’s been insane.

They put on away supporter train services specifically to avoid too many potential clashes between fans, and get the away fans off on their way first as there are fewer of them.

I’d just suggest reading a little of our history if you are genuinely curious why the stadium is where it is.

    Safe journey!

Could say the same thing about Brighton, home game vs a top-10 opponent

in 7 matches at home in the league this year against the top-10 they are 1W-2D-4L that's 16 points out of 21 possible dropped at home against the top half of the league.

Is Garnacho ready to play tonight? He might be a very important factor (off the bench in the second half)
