One off game at Wembley anything can happen. Brighton are very good well organised side, excellent in possession, but they do play high and are vulnerable to counters.

We will probably find ourselves quite deep and inviting them on to hit them behind with the Bruno Rashford combo.

De Gea (really wish it wasn't)
    A.W.B. Lindelof Shaw Dalot
    Casemerio
    Bruno eriksen
    Anthony Rashford Sancho.

Please not weghorst that really is like playing with our boots this together.

I'm with you, sit deep and hit them on the counter. Try to exploit their backline's lack of pace outside of LB. Would be fine with Fred starting this one and Eriksen coming off the bench, as long as we're sitting deep.

Brighton do have way more chance of beating City in the final than we do, has to be said.

Ticket just came through for this one. See you at Wembley!

If Rashford doesn't start then I really don't think we have any chance tomorrow but I think he's the key to beating them. Brighton's high press can be exploited with pace and skill and he's the perfect player to do it.

I think we'll win tomorrow because nobody expects us too,, media don't, some fans don't, similar to when Liverpool came to Old Trafford when we were destroyed by Brentford and we turned them over

“It’s only Brighton”. More comments like this please! The mighty Manchester United are huge favourites in my eyes. Brighton have never won anything of note - ever - but your team have already won one competition so far this season. Let alone in your 130 odd years of existence.

Enjoy your day if you’re going.

I just want fair VAR calls. You know it’s going to happen.

They'll complete the home, away and neutral hat-trick.
So Ole beat them every game against them?

We will either win or lose. Could be either really.

But the winner will get pasted by City.

Disregarding the obvious issues in defence, we could still put out a really good side* against City should we make it and provided we get no more bad injuries. Either side will give City a good game (hopefully it's us)

*by good side i mean a fully fit Rashford and Shaw, a non injured Martial, and Bruno and Casemiro playing.

How? We’re miles ahead of them in the league and we beat City in our last game. Just utter nonsense. This place is simply hysterical.

There's this thing called form. We dont have any of it.

There’s thing thing called form, United have won 3 league games in a row and 5 out their last 8 league games, Brighton have also won 5 our their last 8 league games but have only won 1 in their last 3. Please tell me who’s in better form?

There’s no doubting Seville was a shitshow lads but this hysteria is just embarrassing.

Whenever the caf thinks we're going to get pasted, we end up putting on a performance and winning.

Remember how some of us wanted to try and get the Liverpool game at OT called off

Only just seen this stat now. Makes me feel slightly less worried about Brighton. Our midfield looks far more balanced with these 3 starting.

To those who think that Brighton has a better chance to beat City - i would say who has beaten City this season out of the two? This place is at times unbearable.

Bunch of fecking wet wipes in here.

Honestly. It’s been like this on the caf for years. We face teams who are nailed on to beat us every week, majority of them have always conspired to be a lot worse off than us in the same league, just as Brighton are.

I want us to face City at Wembley. Why fans are surrendering the game before playing? As long as we play defensively, we have pace to break them. Rashford, Martial and Sancho should give them some trouble.

We had that amazing stat that we'd not conceded a goal from open play when Varane, Martinez and Casemiro were on the pitch together.

    Then Liverpool happened.

Sancho wouldn't give my local Sunday leauge team a problem in his current form. Stick or twist with him from ETH I feel. Either he plays himself back into form which, I do t think he ever has with us or he dosent start

Let's win this. Yes, all our excuses are nicely lined up and well noted. Injuries to key players, less rest having played on Thursday, being out of form. Brighton are a great team with almost no injuries to key players and overwhelming favourites (and frankly my second favourite team tis season in the EPL). But anything can happen and the ball is round. We are out of Europa and in a pretty good position in the league to qualify for CL. Let's try and get into the final and see what happens.

The biggest concern for most Brighton fans is that the referee and VAR give us a fair chance of winning. If it is played straight, it will be a very competitive game.

Your biggest concern should be whether your team chokes. You are deservedly overwhelming favourites (love your style of play) and have no excuse not to win. Let's see if your team can win if United is willing to suffer and match you in intensity for the whole game.

You need to stop letting ABU hysteria cloud your vision of what goes on in football matches. If you're going to make a statement like that, back it up.

No chance. Good thing I have other things to do. Hey, at least Maguire is suspended. And I wouldn't want Haaland anywhere near our defense in the final. Silver linings, right?

    Brighton 3:0.
Are you forgetting we have beat City this season and Haaland did NOTHING, its fecking Brighton, you know that Brighton who have never beaten us i the FA Cup
Sometimes this forum is so annoying !!!

I think it's the first time I've ever seen the prediction wheel showing more people thinking we would lose than those thinking we'll win and you can be damn sure that if we play as we did in midweek, they'll be right. i would honestly Butland ahead of DDG and if Garnacho is anywhere near match fit, him ahead of Sancho.

I think we might have to accept that City are going to do the double and probably the treble

It's not ABU hysteria, they have been hard done by VAR this season. The latest example was at the Tottenham Stadium when the officials basically handed Spurs the victory. I guess this one is still fresh, thus the posts.

What are you talking about? Brighton have consistently been fecked over by VAR this season. Think they've had 3 official PGMOL apologies

Hope we win so that we get to look forward to another final, even if its against City.

Hope the team digs deep and finds a way to win.
