Still considering everything, we had some really good chances to win it in normal/extra time.

Their bench was scraped out and they didn't have any useful subs. They really scrambled for this.

Watching that, I actually think we'd have as much a chance of beating City in the Final as Brighton. That is to say, not much, but I think City would roll Brighton over in a final.

Looking back I'd say that applies to Dunk, Estupiñán and Webster. Interestingly all three went to DDGs left and he dived to his right.

The pattern certainly looked to be shoot towards DDG's left as DDG only went there for 2 out of their 7 penalties.

You have to safely go for the ball though. Late is late no matter where it is.
Players get booked for late tackles they had a right to make outside of the box as well

On the few occasions in the first half where we did try it, we were very ineffective and Brighton broke it easily. I think we decided pretty quickly it wasn't going to work so sat back and allowed Brighton more possession and try hit them on the break.

Bonus points have never been given out for 3/3 subs.

If you pick a number of subs less than three, and it turns out that that is exactly the right substitute(s) used, you will get three points (e.g. if you pick only Hernandez to come on, and only Hernandez does come on, you'll get three points).
Similarly, if you pick 0 subs and there are no substitutions in the match, you will get three points.
If a player you've chosen for the starting XI is a substitute during the actual match, there are no points for this.
Similarly, if someone you've nominated as a sub actually starts, no points.
If you get everything correct you get 17 points (14 points for correctly predicting the starting XI + 3 points for the subs).

Not too happy with overall performance, but delighted with final result, agreed that Lindelof was MOTM for United (even before pen!) and AWB had one of his best games ever for us, he kept Brighton's most dangerous forward player out of contention for most of the game., and he was able to still make raids down the right that often looked breathtaking.

What has happened to Casemiro he looked old and tired at times, you would have thought the layoff would have refreshed him? Still late on when he moved forward his insight and some of the balls he played, were much more in-keeping with this previous form, hope he comes around soon.
Eriksen also disappointed, one or two good touches, but well off his usual standard.

Tearing my hair out (what little I have) over Antony; fantastic speed but decision making is still very poor, shoots when he should pass, pass when he should shoot... but still he does get into the positions to exercise 'bad' decision making, which is more than Martial and Sancho do!
Some electrifying bursts from Rashford, but last touch deserted him on most occasions.

Can't wait for final, we will be massive underdogs, but you can bet City even though they are playing some of their best football, would have preferred anyone to us in a season ending showpiece.
