Our biggest issue was with the ball. Because McFred were so inept when it came to make themselves available and pass through Brighton's pressing, a large amount of our possession turned into counter attacks for Brighton.

One of McTominay or Fred as the single #6 has failed time and time again. I would've preferred a more defensive minded player in Martinez there and push Fred further forward.
If we sign 2 midfielders and 1 attacker as reported I'd imagine all three players won't start for United by Christmas.
