Utter nonsense. He has been better than Memphis on the left and did absolutely nothing to be benched for him. Even after Memphis stank the place up, he' s not been given the slot back for whatever reason.

Was Young playing well? He's been reliable but i seem to remember his 2 last performances were awful. Could be wrong though.Really hope Fellaini doesn't play as a CM. It'll either mean he actually plays as one and feck everything about our game or he plays much further forward leaving Carrick in a 1 man CM which he has no hope in hell of pulling off.Every time I am confronted by Fellaini starting in midfield for us a part of me dies.Jones back on the bench is good. Odd that Schneiderlin and Young are on there, thought they might start.

Agreed on Young but, with our injury worries and the upcoming run of fixtures, if Schneiderlin is anything other than 100% fit he should be on the bench.
Just can't play in midfield. It makes my head hurt how bad he is at the simple things required of a midfielder. He's a second-striker in a sort of Moysian set up. But never a midfielder in a midfield two. Hasn't got the technical ability.I had Young instead of Memphis, should have known that wouldn't happen. The rest as expected.Fellaini in midfield instead of Schneiderlin surely means the latter is not fully fit, this is going to be an uphill struggle when you look at that completely inexperienced line-up and threadbare bench.
I'm assuming Jones and Schneiderlin aren't ready to start. No idea what's going on with Young though.I know we don't have a choice, but seeing Fellaini in midfield is painful.

Memphis was always going to go through rough patches, and I'm happy that LVG has tried to nurture him a bit, and stuck with him longer than needed and only took him out of the firing line when his confidence was shot and needed to be taken out of the limelight.
We already know Young isn't good enough, and I'm more than happy to give youngsters who might be a chance over Young.McNair and Fellaini
