    Pereira in only one game (vs Brighton) played poorly meriting an exclusion from not only the 1st team, but largely from the match squad.

    True or False?

    Matic in numerous games played poorly meriting no exclusion from even the 1st team itself.

    What kind of message is this to players?

    "Pereira, both those times you decided to go out on loan, I was disappointed because I wanted you to stay and fight for a place."
    Pereira stays and this happens. Is it any wonder that technical players are reticent to choose United over other teams?

    And in reality, there's no cute sound-byte, no rational quote from a presser, or an interview, nor any kind of apparent personal falling out. It's just absence of logic itself, almost.

    Young was arguably our best player that half. :confused:
     
    Also to point out Sanchez was wrongly called offside from Fred's through ball. The linesman made an error.
     
    What has Mata done anything that's positive? The game is passing him and he is just johgjog about just like Matic.
    I don't think Shaw or Lindlof are playing badly. It's Matic and Smalling who creating all the trouble for us. Young has to deal with two players as Mata is just jogging about.

    Defenders are going to look shit when opposition midfielders are repeatedly given time and space to pick their pass. Put Herrera in for Matic and their chances will half at least.

    That decision not to buy a centre back..... it’s incredible really. Worst centre backs in the PL.
     
    Not arguing with the goal but the Law stinks when that happens. Stand offside, get yourself a huge advantage, and it's fine.
     
    More of the same, wildly inconsistent and with more bad than good. Pack a team with as much talent as we have and we're bound to do something right occasionally, which we saw with the goal. But still, we just look disorganised in every department.

    Because Herrera is so fecking inconsistent it's ridiculous. Lets give him some time to adjust and then we can judge. Right now we need some leaders in our squad because outside of Young we are timid as feck.

    You're delusional if you think either of them are up to the task. They're not a patch on the players our rivals have in their positions. 18 goals conceded in 11 games with just one clean sheet. If anything, I'm not being scathing enough.
     
    How is 90% of the goal we concede is from the left? Does it have to do with Shaw's positioning?
     
    Mata has been very poor. I would hook him for Rashford. I'd also hook Fred who is nowhere near good enough for this league. The fact we spent £50m on him is a big indicator that we are so very far away from where we want to be it's unreal.

    To be fair our defenders wouldn't look this incompetent if our midfielders could keep the ball for more than a minute. I will give the attackers a pass because they rarely had the ball

    Yep - also not showing that handball appeal near the end when Pog/Martial were certain. I know bashing United brings audiences in and we've been really poor but there needs to be some balance.

    We definitely can play worse, or at least play like in the first 30min, concede and lose.
    Matic, Pogba, Mata - they just can't deal with the speed of the game, the defense is also terrible. But we have quality upfront and we might sneak it somehow.

    Not today no. We have just defended a corner and Shaw was picking up in the middle. It was Matas responsibility and he switched off as usual

    Sometimes I think I’m the only one that can see what the problem really is.

    It’s Smalling, Young and Jones.
     
    Shaw have been very poor since he got his new contract. He does not play with the same motivation as before. He is back to playing reactively and with little contribution going forward. He seems to regress back to last seasons form. It looks like giving him a new contract after a few decent performance in the hope he was back to his best is a big mistake.
