We need to throw Matic and Mate out. The game is passing by them, get Herrera and Rashford in.

Pathetic Fred, cut that crap out and concentrate on adding something to this team!

We finished it stronger.. and its level. So not all bad.. but the first 30 minutes were shocking

We've had some good chances to take the lead, Bournemouth were good for the opening 20 minutes and could have been 2 or 3-0 up. We've grown into the game.

Sanchez has done a better job than Lukaku up front so far. His movement is very good, and he could've had a goal had it not been for the blind linesman.

    We are an absolute disgrace.

Shaw and Smalling two of the biggest frauds in the PL and Pogba doing another disappearing act.

Sanchez and Mata have played well with little support.

Very open game. Both teams look like they can score another one. Could go both ways. I wish we would be a bit more dominant though.

Whilst I agree we have had some open chances it feels to me like Bournemouth are dominating as a whole. But yes we look just as likely to score as they do when we do get the odd break.

For me the only players who werent poor that half were Shaw and Martial.

Fred won the ball a bit, tried to play some passes but only some of it came off and the play acting at the end of the half was stupid.

Also a nice pullback from Sanchez for the goal. But yeah majority of the team were overall poor

Ashley Young was absolutely brilliant in that half - unlike most other United-players on the pitch. The best defensively, the best going forward - and involved in 3 of our chances (including the goal). As for the rest - well 1-1 at half-time is quite good when perform like that

Have we ever had a player with a more dramatic and quicker decline than Matic?

It's like his form fell off a cliff overnight and he turned to utter trash.

What do you mean more dramatic and quicker? He was shit in Mourinho's last season at Chelsea too, and there was a reason Chelsea were looking to get rid of him.

He had a short reneissance for grand total of about 20 games before reverting back to type.

Young and Fred the only ones to really emerge with any credit

Sanchez also decent in spurts, but a bit inconsistent.

Martial scored at least but not been great other then that.

Everyone else has been crap - special mention for our two CB's and Matic though, who are really showing off how shit they can actually be.

Fred has had an excellent half I feel. Think we’ll win this one.

Matic has been shocking with Smalling. All over the place. Young, Fred and Sanchez very good. Pogba and Mata not in the game and neither is Martial but he's got the quality to score at any moment.

    Agreed.

Matic must come off, not quick enough to cover the ground and close the gaps. Young not good enough either. Herrera on for Matic, Lingard on for Young, get some attacking play down the sides

You think? I had that on and didnt see anything wrong. They were basically saying that Utd have been s*it and this is not the first time this season they have played like this. Thought it was pretty accurate to be fair
Not every single line they say obviously … that would be too obvious. But then I thought my post was too. Perhaps it's a language thing as it's subtleties that might be going over your head.

I love how there's a bunch of replays for Sanchez's 'handball' in the middle of the pitch for the first goal, a replay for Fred's dive, but absolutely none of our handball shout there at the end. No bias in the production team at all, nope.

Once again he’s undeservedly been left out of the squad.

Last season people had a go at him for trying to get minutes in Valencia, still remember posts how he would get his chance when we had period of some injuries

Seems the M.E.N. don't think much of Fred, or a lot of our players come to that.

This is doing nothing to ease my depression. Once again we’re playing with no flair or enthusiasm whatsoever.

Matic is doing nothing. He gives the ball away, lets the opponents just walk past him, he’s not even winning any headers.

I don't want to be harsh but Fred is so fecking inconsistent it's ridiculous. He looks like a jack of all trades but master of none. Why did we replace Herrera with him then ?

Matic, Smalling & Young shouldn't be anywhere near our starting 11, or probably any other EPL team. Its ridiculous they are our first choice. Put a leader next to Lindelof and he could probably be decent.

    Nah Brighton was worse

Not collectively, it was mainly Bailly and Lindelof looking like people who had never ever played football in their lives. The team overall was poor, but not as atrocious as the majority of this first half.

Awful, but not helped by everything we touch being judged as a foul. That one that gave them a free kick right on the edge of the area was ridiculous. And Sanchez was onside when through on goal. Not confident he'd have scored it, but it was a shit call regardless.

I'd say the first 33 minutes is the worst I've ever seen us. Diabolical.

We have said this every other week for five years, which pretty much sums us up as a club.

We were battered by Bournemouth there and it's an absolute embarrassment given our resources that they legitimately look the more talented and well coached team by quite a distance.

I think I must be watching a different Ashley Young to the one getting praised here? Almost all of Bournemouth's best attacks have come down our right side
