    Got to say that line up looks like a managers pick when he already knows he's getting the sack. Will be amazed if we get owt owt of this game but if we do then I'll gladly submit to Ten Haags superior knowledge and back him to the hilt.....or relegation, whatever comes first.
     
    Talk of the devils podcast who are the most reliable United journalists have already said the outcome of this match is unlikely to see Ten Hag sacked

    I don't really see adequate pressing from Zirkzee, he's not quick enough or mobile enough. As usual I'd have gone with Amad and Garnacho, I know Rashford has been finding his feet in the final third, but his off the ball work is non-existent. And I'd have dropped Bruno too because he's been poor all season. I'd also not go with a midfield that lacks any sort of defensive ability. And of course the centre back pairing is concerning, though both de Ligt and Martinez are in poor form (Martinez all season).

    I'd have liked to see something like:

    -----------------------Onana
    Mazraoui----de Ligt---Maguire----Dalot
    -----Casemiro---Ugarte---Mainoo
    Amad-----------------------------Garnacho
    -----------------Hojlund

    With Dalot not tucking into midfield, but staying wide as an outlet and support to Garnacho.
     
    He's already decided who his subs will be today, when they'll come on and who they'll replace. What unfolds now, how those on the pitch play, what we need tactically, are all irrelevant
     
    I predict Aston Villa winning 3-1. Let's see if this squad has any pride wearing this shirt.
     
    This better be happy last day of ETH in charge day.

    If it's not then it's the day we officially give up on this season.

    Doesn't matter the result we know it can't work with him.

    The ideal scenario is we win today and fire him tomorrow. If winning today saves his job then it's a disgrace
     
    This is neither defensive nor attacking line up. Would be interesting to see the "tactics"

    Ha. Or a 2-2 after Villa lead 2-1 and get a man sent off with 40 minutes to go and we get an equaliser in the last 4 minutes and Ten Hag celebrates like Moyes that time we got a draw at home.

    Maybe if it's a close loss but a battering he's gone the pressure would be immense.

    I've seen Sunday League teams better at pressing than United. It honestly is dreadful.

    Why do we keep whacking the ball hard and angrily? Passhun is fine but maybe you can keep calm ans find a team mate?
