    Would like to see:

    ---------------------Romero---------------------
    Darmian-----Smalling-------Blind------------Shaw
    -------Herrera-----Carrick-----Schweinsteiger--
    Mata---------------Rooney--------------Memphis

Schneidy for Schweiny if Schweiny isn't fit enough yet.

Fully expect Herrera on the bench though.

    Goal Keeper
    Darmian Smalling Evans Shaw
    Schneiderlin Herrera
    Mata Januzaj Depay
    Rooney

I doubt they'll let us play two men between the sticks. Not even the mighty Hungarian-Canadian duo, László Goál and Joseph Keeper.
    I don't know, I'm very tired.

0-1 with a dodgy Memphis goal after another shit perfromance

I'll snatch someone's hand off right now for a 1-0 victory.

Away win, back to back wins, a clean sheet and top of the league?

    Yes, please!

    I hope its Carrick at the back and not Blind. Could go for this;

    Romero
    Darmian Mike Carrick Shaw
    Schneiderlin
    Young Mata Basti Memphis
    Rooney

Ashley Young has been the surest thing about our attack for a while now.

Except he doesn't create or score much. Di Maria, despite getting dogs abuse on here towards the end of last season, was far more productive, likewise Herrera (who we all love).

Running around a lot may give the impression of being "the surest thing", but the Herrera is far more likely to provide or score.

He was second on the team in assists last season along with Rooney.

Who's that Gestede fellow anyway. Reading this thread it seems like he's a new Ronaldo.

Big, tall, strong and very very good in the air.

Apart from that, he's not that great and not as good as Benteke with the ball at his feet.

Same. Results are all that count this early on when everyone is still finding fitness and match sharpness.

I hate having to see Daley Blind in defence. He was a pushover in the CDM role, and will be one in the CB role. It makes barely any sense for him to play there.

Hate these friday night games. Heard it was rearranged because of a EDL march which was planned. 1-2

Come on lets see Herrera in the midfield and Memphis on the wing....or do we have to start losing before that happens.

From what I read it doesn't seem definate that he will even start. Hopefully it shouldn't really matter who Villa play as they shouldn't be getting a kick against the mighty United

6 points from 6 would be a real confidence boost to the team considering we had 5 points from 15 last season. Hope we can do them by a few. Come on United let's have 'em.

    Definitely, a win is a win! :D

All good for 6 out of 6 today fellas!! Don't care how it comes, it's a good day and a victory is paramount!

Few suggestions on twitter of a delayed kick off due to traffic around the stadium.
