For anyone coming to the Match there was a major indecent on the M6 by Villa park and they closed the motorway. It might be open by the time of the match but expect long delays.

    Edit
Beaten to it. Maybe I should have read the thread before posting.:)

    LVG at it again? :(

Januzaj! Hopefully he plays behind Rooney and Memphis on the wing! :D

    confirmed

#mufc XI vs Aston Villa: Romero, Darmian, Smalling, Blind, Shaw, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Mata, Memphis, Januzaj, Rooney.

Great lineup. Januzaj as the 10 and Memphis on the left is what I think we'll play. The midfield 2 behind is still a bit too defensive, but I think once Schweinsteiger is fully fit he'll be starting next to schneiderlin

Hopefully Mata in the middle with Adnan and Memphis on the wings. Excited for Januzaj.

The same Adnan everyone was saying should go out on loan only yesterday. This place is brilliant.

So our "best attacking player" against Spurs is dropped. Says it all about our attacking performance and how much of the ball Young wasted in that game. Adnan starting is a nice surprise.

Villa: Guzan, Bacuna, Richards, Clark, Amavi, Veretout, Gueye, Westwood, Ayew, Agbonlahor, Sinclair
Subs: Baker, Richardson, Hutton, Sanchez, Kozak, Bunn, Gestede

Quite surprising they're not starting Gestede against us.

You can guarantee that, if this went swimmingly, they'd be looking at doing more Friday games, regardless of the reasons behind this one. Decent viewing figures for Sky tonight and they'll certainly be pushing for more of the same.
I thought it was definite that there would be a game on Friday night from next season? The only problem I have is it watering down the quality of the games at 3.00p.m. on Saturdays. If BT still have their Saturday dinnertime game, Saturday teatime game, Super Sunday and if a Monday night game it doesn't leave much for a Saturday afternoon.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not all that excited to see Adnan play. Prefer him to Young mind.

Interesting. Didn't expect Januzaj to start. Good to see though. Nice versatility behind Rooney as usual - those 3 could move about a lot.

Guess who's gonna play no 10. Memphis, Mata or Januzaj?

I'd say hopefully Januzaj as 10. He's got the pace Van Gaal likes and this is his chance to have Memphis on the left. Exciting looking team.
