Sometimes I have bad days at work but I am really glad you don't. Your boss must be very impressed. I bet you make a superb brew.

Have you ever considered shutting up, quitting moaning and giving credit to a team that in those first 20 minutes, tore us apart. We were schooled by a good side (think otherwise and your special, the wrong kind of special).
Hahahahaha yes good lad! Credit to arsenal they were an impressive sight.

A bad day at work is very, very different from a distinct lack of effort, something youre clearly incapable of understanding.

If we showed a little more effort to track back, stay compact and fight back and still lose 3-1, then it would make everyone slighly more pleased. That just isnt acceptable.

You seem to be very fond of Arsenal. They are a good side but they are far from special. There is a reason they are mocked for being bottlers as they are consistently terrible against the top teams. A little more effort in the first 20 and the entire game would have been different.

What lack of effort? Please, do go on.

Seriously, consider this shutting up and not moaning lark. add the credit to others bit and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Well no sh*t. Give anyone the amount of time and money Van gaal is being given and we will come good but he's not some amazing manager and just because he talks about philosophy or it being a process it doesn't mean he's doing anything special.

And yes, Van Gaal has a bigger reputation but I don't care about that. I care about results and performances. I'm not saying we should sack LVG because that would bring instability but he's not a good manager and he needs to prove his critics like myself wrong with results
Results? Could have sworn we were top of the table until today

Urgh, hated that, shades of the past there, forgot how much I hate losing to them. Well done resident Gooners.

I'd like to say I told you so about Blind at CB and not playing a proper defender at LB, but what would be the point.

Just interested to see if anyone that gave me shit about Blind is man enough to admit that I was right.

Arsenal are indeed a good side, but I think fans have every right to be frustrated after that performance and express their opinion, rather than being ordered into "shutting up".

One big thing people are overlooking is the team does not fight back at all when losing ever since LVG took over, instead of changing the plan we just keep passing it patiently or hoofing to Fellaini

If you take Martial out of the team, when were a goal down theres no one to take the game by the scruff of the neck, or produce moment of brilliance to inspire team, sad really, especially with all the money being thrown around

I think Bayern are defintely the best run club out there, high quality players all over the pitch, and all bought for under 40mill

So you think we gave 100% the entire game?

    Why should I shut up?

I'm not sure how to measure that or prove one say or the other. If you can then by all means, go for it.

And because you're boring. No offence meant. I suspect your friends won't tell you so someone has too.

To be fair, you coming over as a typical plastic *******.

If I think there a players out there who are playing like they are mentally retarded, then I am comfortable saying so.

I don't need to be seen to being a "bigger" or "better" supporter than any other.
    So carry on.
Firstly I criticized your post but you choose to do exactly the opposite. Also, I am not in the business of deciding who is a better fan. That is meaningless.

But carry on with your defensive attitude. The post was still disgraceful.

The poster aimed at does it regardless of the result. He along with a group of posters are making this site tedious.

I've been on this site years and lurked even longer. Its become a pit of despair for some and I feel its only right to tell them to stop.

Learn to credit the winner. Its not hard.

The first 20, we weren't strolling around with cigars so I would say we were trying. Its just arsenal came out the blocks so fast we couldn't cope.

Don't remember you being this dull in the newbies hindsight.

3 away games coming up and only one of them looks winnable (against CSKA, and that won't be easy). Particularly dreading the derby match, even away to Everton looks just as bleak right now.

Still the worst post of the week.

Did you actually read your post back?

Yes...I said that Blind wasn't proper for CB, and if today's performance wasn't enough of an indicator of that I don't know what is. Should never have let Ozil's pass get through on that first goal and looked out to sea on the second.

I said that Memphis shouldn't be starting...how anyone could possibly argue that is beyond me. He has been awful in almost every league match, all he does is give the ball away.

I said that Rooney is not useful in the hole...and yet again today he looked terrible. Nothing he is doing in that role is helping us in an attacking sense.

    What say you?

Our 60% possession will probably make him say different.
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal speaking to Sky Sports: “When you start like that you can never win a game, we lost every duel, every second ball, not tight on their midfielder, and they can play they are a fantastic team when you let them give them that space it is difficult.

“That was the worse United have been under me, we were not able to give a normal performance.

“I have never seen that of my team, that is the question I put to my players. You can not solve that now, a lot of emotion and I am emotional as well.

“I could not change anything, if it was just one player then I can take measure but it was more than half of my team who were not doing what we had agreed in our game plan.

“I am shocked, you don’t expect it, we were top of the league, won last four matches and have to protect our position, possible against Arsenal. Way we had started, so without emotion. Not expect that, difficult to understand and will have to look for the reasons."
"It was a very bad start, without aggression and the will to win. That is the first time I have seen that from my team. I did not expect that.

"We have won our last four matches, I gave the players a day off because they were tired. On Saturday the training was normal, I was very amazed to see that.

"All teams will have a dip."

Don't see him saying anything about our possession:smirk:

Lvg is generally very honest and its no different here.

As for the last comment, I have become increasingly frustrated with our performances as time has gone on. I was a massive supporter of LvG last year, but he makes some incredibly bemusing decisions time and time again.

I didnt dicredit Arsenal and I dont really need to credit them. I am a United fan watch from a United perspective and that first half was horrible to watch. Even LvG said he didnt know what happened. It was clear, though, we had players who seemed as if they didnt really care. Memphis particularly who left Young to deal with the left side on his own. That said, Arsenal were superb but we didnt help ourselves.

Go back earlier this week against Wolfsburg who looked very positive in the seconf half but we learnt feck all from that performance. We wont progress by playing a 2 man midfield.

Fait enough. I liked his responses.

The answers to our problems are there. A change to 4-3-3, dropping Depay, Young not playing FB and we will be a different team.

Maybe we should be dropping Rooney at this point as his contribution is zilch.

The problem is that we don't have many strikers left.

I don't think too much finger pointing can be done about the first two goals, they were both well worked and well taken by an Arsenal team who started with a lot of confidence. The response could have been a lot better of course, very tepid. I hope now Jones comes in at CB with Blind back to LB and that Carrick is dropped for a bit.

Not sure why Rooney is the worst rated player, he really wasn't. Not that I'd be against him being dropped mind, as much as we all know that won't happen.

Damian and Blind were awful and the others could make up for the their poor play. Having said that, United had enough chances to get back into that game. That doesn't mean that they played well, but they could have gotten something from this match even when they were 3-0. Arsenal played very well in the first 30 minutes and United's defending was woeful.

As a neutral, might I offer a different view?

There seems to be a consensus on here that Utd are a better team than Arsenal and should have won the game.

I'm not sure I agree with that. Arsenal were the better side today and deserved their win. Especially in the first half when they played for me some of the best football I've seen this season.

    Anyway, back to Utd.

Frankly, Rooney, Schweinsteiger and Carrick look old and slow.

    What's Rooney's position? I've no idea.

Darmian is not a right back and got savaged by Sanchez. Hardly surprising he got subbed at half time.

Blind is not a centre back and he is too slow.

Now forgive me, but Felliiani is not a Man Utd player. If he's the answer, you're asking the wrong question. He was lucky not to be booked for his serial fouling, which is what he always does. No way, Fergie would have bought him.

So, where does this sense of superiority come from?

City have the best team and squad and probably favourites to win the title. But what makes you Utd fans think you're better than you are? You might have dominated possession in the second half today when the game was gone and Arsenal decided to consolidate their win. But even then you were ponderous in build up and rarely threatened.

You've some tough games coming up and I just don't see it.

To think you only recently were fantastic with the likes of Scholes, Giggs etc

My God you played some great stuff then. That's the standard to aspire to. You ain't there at the moment though.

While you made some valid points, I find it hard to believe that you are neutral. Out with it. Who do you support?

While it is true United were overwhelm in the first 30 minutes, I hardly think Arsenal is consistently that good. If they were, they wouldn't be in the position they are in UCL.

Yes, yes, yes and yes. We are a shadow of what we were. Many of our supporters want to talk us up but the truth is I wouldn't waste a dollar on a long shot bet for us to win the title. We have deficiencies all over the pitch but the most damning is that we no longer have a team with the spirit that we can always get a result as long as the game is still being played. I believe we had a fair amount of luck last season to get 4th and I think we will require more again this season for a similar table position. We have so many fans who want to find the silver lining when the truth is that we have become a very average side that I honestly believe will be fighting for a top 4 spot rather than a title challenge. Being honest does not make you a bad fan.

I told a Utd supporter that losing Shaw would be devastating to your season until he returns. He was one of your best players.

He was THE best player. We certainly missed him today, but his absence was not the reason we lost although Young struggled with Corzola due to the huge open space in front of him.....
