He's always been like that sadly which is why despite what people thought of how draconian SAF was at times in banning the press, nobody can argue with the results.

Arsene tends to take a "we're all friends and I realise you're just doing your job" approach but sadly if you give the press an inch they take a mile, they've never treated him with the same respect that he at times treats them with (baring the odd stroppy interview that he gives).

Absolutely. Let alone Sir Alex, the wouldn't dare have a go at Van Gaal like that. Ridiculous to let it go.

Would be a fantastic win if we can get it but a draw wouldn't be a bad result. Just don't lose.

It's Arsenal, we always beat them, even under Moyes, we beat them home and draw with them away. But the bookmakers have priced us at 3.6 and there's always a reason for opening odds so I won't be surprised if we lose.

Would like Basti to start but can't see him starting 3 games in 8 days.

Wow, that arrogant, so called journalist and his agenda. Damn. They should just ban him from all press conferences. And if his replacement does the same thing, ban the whole paper. fecking cnuts, really.

The Press Officer should also get a warning for allowing the asshole to just keep running his mouth at Wenger.

City will be flying high after that victory even if its against a shite team, we need to win tomorrow to keep the pressure on them.

I would like to see us beat them by outplaying them but I will take a smash and grab happily!

Can't make my mind up about what our team will be tomorrow at all. Young or Valencia in defence? Carrick/Basti or Morgan in midfield? Front 4 picks itself, mind.

I'd take any win tomorrow. A scrappy 97th minute own goal off Girouds ass would do!

    Christ.......

Still fecks me off that we replaced Welbz with Falcao. That was such bullshit.

Difference being, Falcao hadn't scored 14 goals against Arsenal, whereas Rooney has, which is what I'm basing my prediction on, bad form or not.

Nobody doubts that previously Rooney was great. The fact that he is approaching all time scoring records can tell anybody this.

The issue is that we care how good he is now.

Shearer was unbelievable in his time. I wouldn't want Shearer to be in our starting XI.
Similarly, Rooney is not playing well right now, hence the criticism and the comparison with Falcao.

This feels more like a defining marker for our season, one way or another, the closer it comes.

-Chelsea have all but confirmed their inability to challenge.
-Win this and we're above City having played a similarly difficult set of games so far.
-Lose it and we've stumbled at the first top-quality hurdle of the season.

We can get a proper tennis score if we really go for it. Start like we did against Spurs and City during the spring and we will be 3 up before half an hour. Weak teams like Arsenal generally don't have an answer if you take the game to them and put them under serious pressure from the start.

    Those were home games though.
Our away form is not great, especially against anybody decent.
Last year we beat Arsenal (against the run of play), we lost to Man City and Chelsea.

I'd take a draw, here. That'll take us one point behind Man City, which is good, considering that we played without a striker in our first few games (before Martial arrived).

As much as I feel Arsenal are there for the taking, we will make it hard for ourselves. No complaints from me if we get a win, even a draw wouldn't be too bad.

We were unlucky to lose those games imo. We played worse football against Arsenal and Chelsea when we got the draw.

The guys saying this will be easy are in for a shock.

Not very confident about this. We will rue this chance if we fail to increase our lead against Arsenal and Chelsea.

I'm strangely at at ease about this game. We haven't been brilliant by any means but Newcastle game aside we've been very clinical. Arsenal will give us chances.

It's about time Martial scored another goal before the hysteria dies down.

Got a ticket last night lads via my gooner mate:D, leaving today at 11 to go and sit in the clock end with a load of gooners,I don't know how I'm going to contain myself if we score.

Wish me luck, undercover agent mode (on)
Just start a "You're getting sacked in the morning" chant. Will be a real hit and should take off.

Got a bad feeling about this one. Think it'll be hard day for us. We're due a beating by them at the emirates but I hope it's not today.
We must score first I think.
