Ole's soundbites have been perfection so far.

Even the bit about saying how the players from Wed put in a massive effort, so they'll have to be monitored.

That way, we can bring Herrera and Matic in, without it seeming like those players are being dumped for better immediately.

Would be a great boost if those two and Martial can start without having even been on the bench yet.

That would be very risky though. We all saw what happened when we rushed Lingard back from injury.

Herrera and Dalot off the bench

All depends what exactly they've done and how it's come on.
The Lingard one was mad as he'd done a hamstring was out for a minimum 2-3 weeks, yet showed up about 10 days in!

Really should be a tough game but we should actually be Fresher in some areas with Pogba, Herrera, Matic and Martial not playing midweek.

Arsenal played with 10 men and chased shadows for the majority of their game Thursday. Sokratis and Lacazette will be fresh but they'll miss Torreira.

Don't see why we should rush starting back the 4 just as they've just recovered. Bench at best.

    Rashford -- Lukaku
    Pereira
    Fred -- Pogba
    McTominay
    Shaw -- Lindelof -- Smalling -- Young(C)
    De Gea

Subs: Martial, Lingard, Herrera, Matic, Dalot, Bailly, Romero

I thought was great by Ole as well, it smoothed the way for him to make changes from a positive angle rather than just abruptly switching out players who did well in the previous game.

Because they're trailing us in the league table and playing infront of a home crowd.

Agreed, plus they are coming off a bad result so will be looking for an immediate response.

Still buzzing after the PSG game. Watching the highlights and the celebrations of the staff and the players - former and current - still brings a big smile to my face. Hopefully the players are able to reset before this game, at the very least we need to avoid defeat.

    We should be winning this.

In midfield the will will Torreira,Zhaka ran himself down against Rennes,Guendouzi's decision making is suspect. My only worry is Ramsey, our DM should track his run,he has an excellent movement and has the ability to find space between the CB and DM.

Their FB is also suspect especially their RB,Mustafi has been playing there for a few games now,he is positioning suspect, rarely joins the attack and seemed too have played with a knock against Rennes, they may play Niles at RB ,our RW will be key,I will like Martial to start.Shaw can handle Mikhi, and Mikhi is not known for tracking back,we should overload their RB with Martial and Pogba, this will drag either Zhaka or Kolscieny/Sokratis to come and help their RB thereby creating space for Lukaku/Rashford and Fred/Herrera.

Thei LB is also a major weakness, the Rennes forward Sarr ran Monreal rags time and time again,he will/should be knackered for this game and Kolasinac is suspect defensively. But he is a threat going forward, and our RB is probably our weak link in defence, they may find joy down our right(teams tend to attack us from the RB,the weakness is apparent).

Lacazette/Auba are also a worry for me because of their pace and movement,I hope Smalling and Lindelof can shut them down.

    .............DDG..............
    Young.......Lindelof.....Smalling........Shaw
    ..............Matic..............
    ........Fred............Pogba
    Lukaku.....Rashford.....Martial

    Sub:Bailly,Dalot,Herrera,Romero,McT,Greenwood.

Fully expect Arsenal to come flying into us, they're dirty -Mustafi, that Greek (?) one, and Terrierwhasisname (if he's not banned).

They are one point behind us, and we still have to play Chelsea and City. A draw isnt that much of an issue for them, no reason for them to be desperate to beat us

Their away record is pretty woeful. I can see them dropping points away to Wolves and Everton. They need to win their home games if they're to stand any chance of top 4 IMO.

The closer this game gets I'd not confident at all. As I said a full strength team we win this all day but I don't think we'll see either Herrera or Matic start unfortunately. And even if they did start, would they be out of practice?

Bit of famous SAF's headache for Ole.

If Herrera's in full health it's very tempting to get him on that pitch. We should be fine.

If its true we're having a few people back from injury, I'm even more confident! Sticking with a thrilling 2-3 with chances galore.

So many pundits are giving Arsenal the victory here and I can't see what it's based on. I'm honestly struggling for any sort of reasoning.

    De Gea
    Young--Smalling--Lindelof--Shaw
    Matic
    Fred--Pogba
    Lukaku--Rashford--Martial

subs: Romero; Bailly, Rojo, Dalot; McTominay, Pereira; Greenwood/Chong

Rashford playing the false 9 role with Martial and Rom split strikers. McTominay replacing Matic if deemed not fit enough to start and if Martial isn't fit enough to start then play:

    McTominay
    Fred--Pogba
    Pereira
    Lukaku--Rashford

Looks like both Greenwood and Chong will be on the bench. We carried 7 defenders and only usually have 6 in the 18, so along with Grant sitting out...

    I'll go for this:

    De Gea
    Young Smalling Lindelof Shaw
    McTominay
    Dalot Pereira Pogba Rashford
    Lukaku
Martial, Matic and Chong to come off the bench.

    Arsenal 1-2 United

Winning 2-1 with just 10 men? You're confident!

Game takes on even more significance if the Spurs score stays the same

you do realize if chelsea win their game in hand we are 5th? So we need to take the game to them and WIN!
We don't need to take the game to them. I believe they'll come at us, because they're playing at home and we'll have space to hurt them on the break.

    Spurs have also lost..

Chelsea will go to Anfield and visit OT. 3 points will be massive but a draw is not the end of the world.
