I'd take a point but given our results recently, I'm sure confidence is high so hopefully we get the result.

I reckon fan confidence is too high but I think we'll get a win. Not sure it'll be pretty though, we're still going to be missing players and the ones that do come back won't be sharp.

Is the fact that Torreira is not available good or bad for them. I can't tell some times

It's good for us in terms of having one less prick trying to break our players' legs. Mind you they've still got Xhaka for that role though.

Desperately want to see Jesse back on his dance floor.

Always seems rash at times to me. Maybe I'm just biased.
True but he’s one of the few arsenal players with any backbone, which is so desperately needed in that team of fannys

I really fancy us in this game. 3-1, same as FA Cup.

Just the one for Rom though.

I actually think that this will be the game when we get the first EPL loss. Too many injured players, team is tired, and we are still on high emotions from the UCL match. Would actually be happy with a draw.

we need the fresh legs so both Matic and Martial goes straight back to the team.

Matic, Herrera and Martial will start and we will win.

    Fred
    Pogba

Subs: Scott - Rojo - Martial

We bully them. We control the game. Lukaku gets another brace and Pogba owns that midfield. Martial to come on for the icing on the cake.

The last fixture in our crazy run of games.. Lets finish the run on a high. Wolves game is next weekend so a lot of rest for some of the tired legs.

Hope Martial and Herrera are fit to start and Lingard and Matic can make the bench.

Torreira's gonna be a big, big miss for them. He showed great quality against us this season.

Is Torreira being suspended and big miss for them?

Edit: feck. Post above. I'm blind as a bat.

Ole's first real test. Win this and top 4 is ours.
    Lol just kidding.

I was just going through Arsenal Mania, and that place is oozing with salt. Is there a 'Arsenal Mania goes into meltdown' thread like we have for our Merseyside neighbours?

We've had 6 and 4 at the Arse before, Sharpey and 'Sheasy, more of the same with a clean sheet please!!:D:D

    Just found this stat:

Arsenal have not been beaten at the Emirates in the Premier League since City's visit on the opening day of the season and have won their last eight home league games.

Make no mistake, this isn't going to be easy. Just glad we will have some of our injured players on the bench atleast.

    The irony...

Weak defense? If we played Jones or Bailly, yes. But I consider Smalling-Lindelof a top 6 defense, quite solid enough, even with Ashley Young at RB.

Even McTominay is putting in solid performances. We don't have a weak defense, it's our wingplay that has suffered due to the injuries.

IIRC us and City were the only teams to win their in the league last season, let's make that be the case this season as well...

We've scored 6 times in our last two visits to the Emirates so i'm hopeful we'll win again to make it 3 wins on the trot at the Milly Rock stadium.

Team selection is going to be very interesting tomorrow now

Guard against bringing back the injured players straight away and we drop points the question will be why didn't we go for a stronger side?

Bring back the injured players and we drop points question will be why did we change a winning side and did we bring them back too soon?

We've seen with Spurs that they lost that galvanised effect the injuries were having on them as soon as Kane returned, can't afford for the same to happen to us.

Big decisions for Ole to make, hope he gets them right (like he has with most to date tbf)

Predicting team lineup this time feels more difficult than ever, like playing cards with 10 jokers, it becomes pure lottery when you don't know more about how the form is with so many and recently injured players. In any case, I hope that Dalot can start and that Fred gets at least 30 minutes.

The game will be tough no question, but Arsenal need to take the game to us, which will leave them open to counters.

Ole's soundbites have been perfection so far.

Even the bit about saying how the players from Wed put in a massive effort, so they'll have to be monitored.

That way, we can bring Herrera and Matic in, without it seeming like those players are being dumped for better immediately.

Would be a great boost if those two and Martial can start without having even been on the bench yet.
