Followed by some sloppy defending on our part. Shaw and Pogba both pretty sloppy with passing/positioning. Inspired as it is to play Lukaku on the right, it leaves Young completely exposed.
Absolutely not. The combination with Kolosinac down the left is where all our trouble has come fromShaw and Young are sleeping all the time, and it doesn't help that Herrera and Pogba are doing the same.

Matic and Herrera way too deep and passive, lost control of the midfield. Parking the bus was perhaps an exaggeration, but it was a change in mentality that cost us.If Martial doesn't trackback what about Sanchez ?

Two players who, for me, have been regularly poor, but both played key roles in knitting things together going forward on the counter. The guy is absolutely finished at this level, yet you still find people happy keeping him as a squad player.Herrera, Bailly and Lindelof all a bit too reactive for that goal.
Those three are all decent at duels, but poor at sniffing out danger before it happens. Against an attackas creative as Arsenal's, that's always going to be dangerous when we sit back.
Only Matic out of the 4 CBs+DMs is any good positionally.
Yeah because they're two people and Young is one person. He's not got much protection in this formation, but that isn't his fault. Iwobi hasn't had a sniff out of Young so far.Good half from Lukaku.
Iwobi-Kolasinac combo causing loads of problems on our right side.Very shaky defensively but feel that we can score with every attack. Need to score another in the second and get more solid at the back.
He's made many of those to be honest. He's quite good at a nice thread in which is why I think he'd work best with a Rashford or Martial in front of himWill take that
