Thanks, mate. He still has his membership and goes to some home games, but it's a different game now, of course, from when he used to watch United home and away in the seventies. Buchan, McIlroy, Greenhoff, Hill, Pearson, Coppell et al was his big era.

Yeah, I bet! I only have proper recollection of Coppell. Such a graceful player. Joy to watch.

No idea, but I don't think Jose brings him along without intentions of playing him.
Fingers crossed, but Jose might have brought him along even if he thought there was only a 30% chance he could play, because he's that important.

    Can't continue like this.

    Moyes:

    Played: 5
    Won: 0
    Drawn: 2
    Lost: 3
    Scored: 4
    Conceded: 10
    Points: 2/15

    Arsenal: 0-0
    Chelsea: 3-1
    Liverpool: 1-0
    Man City: 4-1
    Spurs: 2-2

    LVG:

    Played: 10
    Won: 4
    Drawn: 2
    Lost: 4
    Scored: 7
    Conceded: 11
    Points: 14/30

    Arsenal: 1-2, 3-0
    Chelsea: 1-0, 1-1
    Liverpool: 1-2, 0-1
    Man City: 1-0, 0-1
    Spurs: 0-0, 3-0

We really need a win today.

Waiting for this game is agonizing. It's like the clock won't move today. Getting nervous now.

If we lose today, any slim hopes of keeping pace with City are over. Start of December and we'll be playing for top four. A win would be massive, a point perfectly acceptable, but let's look to win the game.

A point will only be acceptable if we follow it up with a win against City which is quite a dangerous way to enter that one. I feel we really need to win today. I've missed what it feels like to go away to another big side and get the win. It's time to step up now and be counted.

Isnt there that guy on twitter who always leaks our team like 2-3 hours before kick off! Waiting on matic is agonising!

Fully agree; we need to be courageous today.

Mou rested a fit Zlatan against Chelsea at OT last season and surprised everyone so hopefully he pulls another one tonight by resting Lukaku and pairing Rash and Martial up top. The big man needs a rest tbh, he's played a lot of football.

Arsenal fans are super confident all over my social network. Is there anything more unbarable that confidence Arsenal fans?

Anyway I hope we go out to prove a point. Jose needs to have the team up for it straight from kickoff and beat them physically all over the pitch. Rashford, Martial and Lukaku need to start as a front 3.

    Big team news
Two big pieces of team news. The tweet has been deleted, but here is a screen grab from BT’s touchline reporter:

    Samuel is obsessed with moles.

    Mourinho's mole hunt
There’s no hint of a full team leak just yet. The M.E.N.reported the full leaked team before it was confirmed an hour before kick-off against Watford, amid Mourinho’s ‘mole hunt’ for the source behind the team news leaks.

Mourinho has allowed some XIs to get out that were laden with deliberate selection errors but he might be keeping his cards (or rather, his team) closer to his chest today.

    First the leaked team.
