Also the fact he came through the Ajax youth system.Being Dutch and his best period in football management was with Ajax, pretty sure he'll favor them above us tbh.

Ibrahimović in black could mean a lot of things: he's in mourning, he's neutral (also played for Ajax), or he's… Zlatan.
It's not on 59, that channel no longer exists. Any other peasants like me out there will have to make do with Youtube. And BT Showcase SD/HD on Freeview 59/115
Yeah, I can see the arguments for all of them, though I think you could easily argue the other options as well. Mata, especially though, I'm pleased to see in from the get go tonight, but I would've thought Lingard would've clinched it with his performance against Palace.Lingard has been poor lately (except for the minutes he played against Palace); Mata is more experienced and his combination with Mikhi has been pretty eye catching. Mata is also more clinical than Jesse.
Carrick has also been poor lately. If we judge strictly based on the most recent performances and forget about the biases against Fellaini, then we have to admit he has been better in the midfield than Carrick. Also, because we are a bit short in defence, we Fellaini's height to defend corner kicks.
I prefer Jones to Smalling in defence but the reason for picking Smalling here is pretty clear. To beat Ajax, we have to stop Dolberg. One of his primary weapons is his movement off the ball and ability to run behind defenders. Jones is weak in this regard. He gets easily caught in the wrong positions. Smalling for all his weaknesses, does better than Jones when it comes to positioning in defence.
I think it's a good team selection.
Now let's see the game plan and how the boys on the pitch, rise to the occasion.
Same. At the pub, and got more beer waiting at home no matter the result.Got my beer so win or lose i'll be drinking in joy or drinking in misery.
Probably, who knows. But he might feel as a free player, having a long injury and his contract ending soon.Neutral ? He has a contract with us.
He's on our side for sure.
Because he's Zlatan, obviously, and he has a need to point that out!Why is Zlatan not in the club suit with the other unavailable players?
GulpSome very bad things obviously.
For all I know he was pretty proud to Manage a club like united and it was evident with the classy message he left at the end.
Surely he'd like the best team to win.
Zlatan, Rojo and Bailly all on the touch line wearing suits, how much more confident would we all be if those 3 were in the XI
The gaffer said if we need to call you in tomorrow would that be okay. I replied that I won't be sober tomorrow.I had today off, but I'm now realising you made the right decision. Tomorrow is going to be tough.
Always the optimistShoot me but I think it'll be 2-1 to Ajax.
A last minute jinx! Let's hope it worksShoot me but I think it'll be 2-1 to Ajax.
We have nothing to compare him to. DDG hasn't put a foot wrong in the PL while Romero has been outstanding in the Europa. He's chosen the latter because he's been dependable in the CupBecause romero has been better this srason
Love to but I'm a newb and don't think I'm allowed to. Later in the newbie forum hopefully if all goes well! Can we get a pic of him?
Damn, knew I had forgotten something. My nerves.
Thank feck for weed.
This. Well stocked up.
Haha, we're all drinking buddies tonight.Same. At the pub, and got more beer waiting at home no matter the result.
Shoot me but I think it'll be 2-1 to Ajax.

Too early to sleep yet.Go to bed, please.
This pessimism isn't helping anyone.
Probably wears it because it will be easier to move around?Ibrahimović in black could mean a lot of things: he's in mourning, he's neutral (also played for Ajax), or he's… Zlatan.
Anytime I hear we are facing a pressing team, I think the worst.I have a bad bad feeling now. I think we will have our arses handed to us. They showed highlights of their games earlier in the tournament. feck
correct score , just wrong way roundShoot me but I think it'll be 2-1 to Ajax.
Just a detail, but there were a few goals De Gea could and should have avoided, like Everton's at home. Still, of course he's the better keeper, but this is a team and Romero hasn't put a foot wrong in this competition, so there's really no reason to keep him out.We have nothing to compare him to. DDG hasn't put a foot wrong in the PL while Romero has been outstanding in the Europa. He's chosen the latter because he's been dependable in the Cup
Ah feck, i only bought 6 beers and have emptied three already to calm the pre-match nerves
Guess i'll be drinking whiskey in the 2nd half then
